Elements not loading in Chrome

If you use Chrome, try to enter Kong via Chrome and play EtG that way.

Anyway, turns out ctrl-F5 doesn't always work. Kong is working in Chrome though.

I also tried spamming F5, but part way through I tired something else.
The elements site wouldn't load so I tried it on Kong. It worked and then both started loading normally.

Another Chrome EtG loading failure here.  F5 and Ctrl+F5 spamming did not help.  Gave it many refreshes and a few hours without correction.

First try on Firefox loaded up the game just fine.

I just installed Chrome last night to try it out, and since I was doing that anyway, I tried running Elements, and encountered the same thing.  Sometimes it loads and sometimes it doesn't, but refreshing it 5 times or so got it working for me.  I also couldn't get into chat with Chrome; I tried 3-4 times but it said it couldn't make a connection or something like that.  (at work atm so I can't check the message)

Sometimes I've just left the tab open, and then at some point later I hear the opening ad.not enough data to know for sure how long waiting it out to work would take.

Are people still having this problem? I was, and after searching, I've found this solution, which has solved more than just EtG's problems for me.

BTW, if you've heard about the bug that makes you lose all of your cards, I heard (in some discussion regarding this) that it was related to Chrome. I wouldn't want to lose my progresses, so I switched to Firefox for playing elements only. If what Rutarete linked works, I'll go back at it.

I heard about that happening to one person. It was related to chrome in the sense that I think that person was using chrome and it happened around the time when the chrome problems started happening. In the thread about it, zanz mentioned that some bad data had been passed to the server from the account and implied that it seemed related to some sort of hacking attempt gone bad. I see no reason to believe that the chrome bug had the tiniest bit of anything at all to do with that.

edit: Citation. The person in question was not actually even using chrome at the time (since he says in the OP that he tried switching to chrome after the bug happened).

edit2: I don't know exactly where the discussion was that mentioned that it might have been related to chrome (though I also remember reading that at some point). When the chrome bug first started happening, "maybe it's chrome's fault" became an answer to just about every new weird thing that was happening with the game for a bit, though. Either way, I'm not losing any sleep worrying about this one.

I have done nothing to my Chrome browser, which I have continued to use throughout this ordeal.  For several days, everything has been working as it should, with no F5 refreshes required.
