Did you try http://elementsthegame.com/elementnew.swf (http://elementsthegame.com/elementnew.swf)?
A friend suggested that it may be Comcast that is actually the problem.  I doublechecked, and most of the people I know having some of the connect issues to Elements were with Comcast (those who were not either didn't respond to my question or honestly didn't know "what a comcast was".

I tried everything you said when I was having the connecting issues (working fine right now) and none of that worked for me, personally.

For everyone having trouble connecting to various parts of elements, due to our current crappy server environment:

Trouble connecting to the http://elementsthegame.com/ (http://elementsthegame.com/) / getting the flash player to load

Trouble getting your game to save
Trouble loading chat
  • Just refresh a bunch of times, honestly.
Trouble logging in once the flash player has loaded

I'm on Comcast as well, and have been having intermittent issues.  I have heard pretty much universal complaint about the servers as of late though, so I am not so quick to attribute it to Comcast.

Thanks for the update and tips on these issues, Much appreciated.

EDIT:

Just had to test the above...
The voodoo works !! :)
Thanks
Glad it was helpful!   :)

It seems that that step generally works, people on chat seem to have good success with it.

Hi to all, i'm a new member from Italy.
First af all, yes my english such....
And second, i see that you are talking about connection issues, so i would ask you if with my ridiculous 16,8 Kbps (hahaha) connection speed i will can however play at this game (with a lot of patience).
What do you think..? How many Mb it will be to load the game?

Thank you, bye
The main file size is 2.3 MB. It should take you about 20 minutes to download it the first time. After that, if your browser's cache is correctly configured it should be immediate.

Welcome to the forum. Have fun playing this great game.

I use Firefox and am getting Problem loading page, the connection was reset error. Retried all morning, basically for last 3 hours off and on. Is something wrong? Putting in this thread. Just so you know, I did try the alternate site you linked also, no luck.
