Archangel not healing or barely healing?

Hey, I am a newbie that finally finished building a Arena Destruction 101, this is the
first time I am using a archangel, but I am having some problems...

I checked that I have the  , and selecting the correct target,
but the heal doesn't seem to apply most of the time, and only heal around 1~2
occasionally. I know that the description says, "up to 5 hp's" but I don't think
it meant to not heal most of the time. Is it a problem on my part? or anyone
experiencing the same one as me?

I think you believe that it would increase a creature's max HP. But this is not the case.

So if e.g. an archangel with max hp (the amount when it comes into play), you can only heal the damage it received, but not exceed its max hp, which is 7.

Therefore, if it gets 2 damage, you only heal 2, 'cause it stops at 7. Hope this cleared things up

In few words, 'heal' doesn't increase the creature's max HP. Also, you can't target yourself with it.

Never would have thought that heal actually works as a "heal",
kind of thought of it as growth ability I guess.
