As gods are known to do, the False Gods of the Elemental realm bred much with the ordinary population. As time passed, much of the population grew to have divine blood in them from one god or another. Eventually, there came a king, Jelmun III, who had no children of his own. On his deathbed, his councilors asked him, “Who should succeed you as king?” He replied, “The one who has the blood of all the gods.” With that, the king passed, and elementalists from around the realm were called to a summit. At this summit, the dying words of Jelmun III were repeated, and each elementalist was asked to prove the origin of their blood, by means of battle.

1. HOW TO SIGN UP?Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting in the
sign-up thread!

2. GETTING READYRead the rules for each individual god's decks. Prepare your decks according to the specifications. Base rules ban all shards except the Shard of Divinity and permit up to 20% of the deck to be upped. Some individual gods have exceptions to one or both of these rules. After each game, players must tell their opponent which god their deck was.
3. BRACKETSPlayers will play an opponent in each round in a best of 5 match. Each opponent will be different from all previous opponents, if this is possible. Players score one point per game win, and a 2 point bonus for winning a match.
Additionally, a player earns one bonus point for the first time they win a game as any given god. This means that if you win your first round match with 3 games as Akebono, you've earned the one point bonus for Akebono, but cannot earn the bonus for Akebono again.
4. DUELSPlayers have 7 days to make the fight happen. They must contact their opponent using a PM, and try to find a time that suits both. If the fight doesn't happen, both players lose by default, unless one player is clearly more active in trying to find a suitable time. Event organizer will determine who the most active player was, and his or her word is final.
Matches are best-of-five. The first player who wins 3 individual duels, wins the match.
You may use any god's deck in any game of any match.It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair.
5. AFTER DUELSWinner should post a new topic in the "Battle Results" section, along with short description of how the match went.
Both the winner and the loser are required to post the names of the gods they played as, but not the exact decks.
6. ELIMINATIONS AND WINNEREliminations will happen after every odd-numbered round, beginning with Round 3. A cut line will be set at the start of the round equal to 8 points higher than the current lowest score. All players with that score or higher advance. If this rule means that an odd number of players survive, the highest scoring player below the line will also be kept. Ties will be broken in favor of the player with more unique god wins, followed by match wins, followed by game losses (since game wins are necessarily equal if the first two tiebreakers are equal). When 8 or fewer players remain, the cut line will be set 5 points above the second lowest score rather than 8 above the lowest. If only 2 players remain, either player may win the event by winning a Best of 5 match that they had the highest score at the start of.
Alternately, a player wins the event at the end of any round if they are in first place in the standings and have gotten a win as every god. Since there are 29 gods, this cannot happen before round 10.
7. REWARDSThe winner of the event will (hopefully) receive an award as per the judgment of the PVPOs.

A: I expect it will be in the vicinity of 10 rounds. The exact number will depend on the number of participants and the competitiveness of the race for 1st place.

A: Nope, sorry.
Q: What sort of per god restrictions are you talking about?
A: Each god has an allowed deck size range, some required cards, some restriction on which elements can be used, and an additional buff or debuff.
Q: Wow! That's a lot! Can you give us an example?
A: Sure! Currently the requirements for Ferox are as follows (though this, as with all other gods, is still subject to change): 50-60 card deck, at least 5 copies of Photon, Rustler, and Empathic Bond, Only Light and Life are permitted, 2 Giant Frogs don't count towards your upgrade limit.
Q: What do you mean by quanta cards?
A: All pillars and pends, plus any creature that creates exactly one quanta of its own element (Brimstone Eater, Gnome Rider, Damselfly, for example).
Q: Can other-element cards be used?
A: Yes, unless the god's rules explicitly say otherwise. Other is considered to belong to no element, and therefore counts as out of element for percentage purposes, but not forbidden from gods only allowed to use certain elements.
