level 5 decks https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=1595.msg14249#msg14249

Well, from 5 games i aced 4, and won the last only without mastery because i killed the opponent too fast (had no time to heal back).
Not all of them are equal strength, due to bad luck Aquaur (water/time) almost beat me.
He got lots of critters out, i was without any defense, RoF came the last moment.
Aquaur's deck could done better with some aether mana (neither anubis nor the ulitharids could do much).
Was this is intentional?

Zanz doesn't make the deck, I don't think anyway. I'm pretty sure AI makes the decks in Lv 5.

I think he means beacuse the decks are generated using cards of one of the two elements the enemy has, such creatures with abilities not of their element, mind flyer, gravitron firemaster, anubis, etc, aren't able to use their skills because the AI's elements would just be the element used to summon the creature and some other element.

In other words, many times the creatures with ability costs that are different than the creatures element often can't use their ability because the AI's duo deck doesn't use it.

K, that part of the decks are being auto generated escaped my attention.
Well, in this case, the name of level 5 is a bit exagerrated :D
A totally random deck cannot be significantly stronger than the cleverly designed level 3 decks (or top 50).
I guess this is only temporary, or level 5 will be farmed very extensively.
If you can get rare cards, it should be adequately hard.

Honestly it's not really about the cards, it's about the way that they play. If the False Gods were 100HP, had a 1x mark and drew one card per turn, then they'd be easily beatable even if they have upgraded cards. The AI just isn't capable of matching human play, so this Level 5 means that you have to chew through 200HP and all the other advantages first, which is their only real advantage.

I'm hoping that the AI changes will make everything harder, but these level 5 AIs are a good start in creating a medium between the FGs and L3.

I still find AI3 better for cash, but that's just me.

I find that lvl 5 is most effective, at least for me, as in the time i could blow through two or three lvl 3 i would have already gotten element mastery on a lvl 5, netting me 80 coins instead of 30-60 from lvl 3

Also, the lvl 5 seem a lot like lvl 3 just with more health, faster quanta, and a few upgraded cards. their play style isn't as good as an FG's, but i supposed that will be helped with some AI improvements, such as not using a bunch of sundials in one single turn.

Zanzarino seems to have added some Quantum Pillars to the decks - IMO a good idea, as now every creature can theoreticaly use its abilities.

I've been noticing that as well. Now they are more of a challenge. But that just makes it more interesting to see what they pull out :)
