"TL;DR"-Update for those who don't want to go through the whole thread to find the good version ;):

Old original post:

I just recently started grinding half-bloods to get some upgraded cards, so I wanted to share my deck with you.

I still consider myself a beginner; in the last weeks I experimented a lot with rainbow decks, since I really love the variety. I can't bring myself farming anything with something like mono-aether.

This deck might be less than optimal and less than original. So any (polite if possible) advice/feedback is welcome.

Cons:
Takes a lot of time
Big deck, so higher chance of getting bad draws
Still weak against rush decks

Pros:
Fun (a lot of randomness due to fallen druid)
If you win, most likely it will be with EM

The deck is built around shard of patience but can also work without it. Basically you stall with Sundials, Dim Shields and Bonewall (and Steal) while trying to get a lot of creatures out. For this, you have various options: aflatoxin your own small critters like deja vu, Fire Spirit, etc., pump out elite fireflies with the queen or use boneyard to get some skeletons out there.

I tried several weapon combinations, but Owls Eye and Pulverizer proved the most valuable for creature control and perma control.

This might not be the fastest or most effective deck for half-bloods - but at least for me it's a lot of fun. And I need to have fun while grinding something. I didn't keep record, but I feel like I win around 40-50% or so of the games. I played this deck the last 3 days and got around 15 or so upgraded cards from spins alone and also enough money to upgrade 3 more.

Yes, and more than a tad bit clumsy. I wished I could streamline it some without it losing it's variability.

Well, the novas don't give you enough quanta to be worth the space, so you should take them all out.

I'm wondering what the the purpose of alfatoxin is; it uses too much quanta, and your deck doesn't really need it.
The fire spirit, unupped otyugh (unupped = pretty much worthless for otyughs), and deja vu are all superfluous.

The above were the cards I'd definitely take out; I also recommend taking out some pillars, some dim shields (you'll be busy growing your bone wall), and perhaps some sundials.

Thanks very much for the input.

Aflatoxin sometimes can provide me with some much needed creature production, since the deck really has some issues in that point. Deja vu was also intended as cheap source for creatures to mutate/improve or simply let grow with SoP.

I will try to take out the novas and up the other otyugh next. Probably will try to take some sundials and pillars out as well.

It's all very much relying on some of the synergies popping up and these synergies often reyling on single cards. That's what makes the deck pretty unstable imho. I would love to get the numbers down to 46 or so, throw an eternity in against decking out, but I like so many of these cards, it's hard to leave some out.  :-[

Old ScaredGirl deck was the base of one old FG deck of myself, and although its outdated, it still can work vs AI4 most times (your win rate could be like 75%, even more). It works like this one.

Deck import code : [Select]
52n 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u6 71b 74b 74b 77c 77i 7am 7am 7do 7do 7n3 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q8 7q9 7q9 7q9 7q9 7q9 7q9 80d 80h 80h 80i 8ps

You can also put a Butterfly Effect in if you like. Usually, 1 Quint for Oty, another one to FFQ. Fractal usually the Druid. It works unupgraded, and 1st cards you should upgrade are Hourglasses and Otyugh.

Of course, if you like, you can try some Entropy Shards.

Yes, I also stumbled upon ScaredGirls deck a few times and it was one of my inspirations.

Thanks, I will try this out. Already got the upgraded Otyughs and 2 Electrum Hourglasses; I wanted to try something with fractal and quint anyway sometimes, so I will check this out.

With entropy shards you mean shard of serendipity? I don't have those. But I might try your deck with SoP, since there aren't any other water cards in there anyway and from my experience AI usually doesn't steal or destroy SoP.

Changed it a little, added purify and am quite happy with it now. Definitely a lot more stable than my original deck.

Mongorr, your deck is really good. Nice work for cutting it down. SoP for HB farming is a brilliant idea. I think maybe add one or two low cost creatures just to make it easier to get your creatures out. Apart from that, great work and keep it up!

If you like the randomness, I think this is for you.
Half blood are usually easier to beat up than AI3. They usually miss a clear strategy.
A 0/2 mutant with immaterial? Golden! :/

@Farin: Thanks, but credit should also go to Marvaddin and ScaredGirl. That template was almost perfect for what I wanted. :)

I thought of adding maybe one more creature but usually otyugh/boneyard or elite queen come in time for creature production.
Right now I upgraded some more cards, which makes it easier to get all the aether stuff out in time. Sometimes when I have SoP and fractal but no creature in sight, I just fractal a low-cost enemy creature.

@WexMajor: That deck looks interesting. Unfortunately I don't have Discord and Shard of Serendipity yet and I need some more coins to upgrade some of those cards. But I will try that out when I have the cards.

Right now the deck looks like this:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 52n 592 5c6 5f8 5ia 5j2 5j2 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 621 621 622 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u3 6u6 71b 74b 74b 7am 7do 7n3 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q8 7t9 80d 8ps

The second SoP is not necessary but sometimes really helps (although they don't stack). I also tried it versus bronze and while not perfect it still had some good results. Have to grind there a little for shards and missing weapons.

TBH, I've been using the second version you've posted here to farm Silver pretty good for money. It EMs most of the times, and thus even if you win one and lose 2 (even though it's mostly 50%, as winrate) you'll be efffectively farming electrums, while not shards.
I changed it a little, but it's not anything really relevant, just some little personal preferences. I wouldn't use this for bronze because it is really susceptible to mono-aether if you haven't got a Miracle, and because it is reaaaaally slow.
