Dont play them until the mark gets changed? I dont think that the rewards given are worth the risk or time even after the 50 hp nerf but maybe thats just me. Another good change would be greater chance of winning an upgrade, don't know if I won a single one after 100 wins or so.

No but they should be changed if there is a logical linear progression reward wise to difficulty wise. It has also long been asked for.

Some remarks:
  • There is a topic for that: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,38673.0.html
  • When you ask something, use the simple words "please" and "thank you"
  • Ask yourself if the Caps are really necessary. On the internet it means yelling.

can anyone please tell me an easy way to beat the half bloods?

Well, they did reduce the HP for them recently, so good luck. I would use Aether too.

Level 4. They are not hard if you have a decent deck, even unupgraded.

Mono aether is good for the half blood. Just hope you don't get a bad draw.

Im using my High Gravity Bronze (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,46710) deck, which is Mono Gravity, to beat AI4 pretty decently, although it was designed to fight Bronze league initially. It uses a Nymph, but its not really necessary, just helps for some EM.

Problem about AI4, which may make them hard is, when they have less 3 cards in hand, they will double draw. So there is a bigger chance they will draw something to trouble your strategy. Sometimes looks like they just draw what they need. Maybe something to clog their hands can work. Something like a quanta denial (using quicksand), or Nightmare. Or a functional (protected?) Eternity in early game.

I think one of the most common mistakes with the halfbloods is that people start fighting them too early with completely unupgraded decks and that just doesn't work, at least not for grinding or similar. If you have a semi-upped or fully upped deck on the other side it shouldn't really be a big problem winning against them.

Frankenshard does really well against ai4.

Using mono aether is still the best choice for people who have just started. Dim shield alone can completely wall a huge amount of any AI

It is definitely possible to grind ai4 fully unupped and rareless. Mono aether is a great choice like timetock said (and easy-to-play), but there's other options available as well. The mistake IMO is that people go into ai4 with decks that are meant for ai3 (or custom-made decks that are around ai2 level). AI4 is the first time people actually see an opponent that has extra HP, extra mark, and extra drawing, and generally aren't prepared for it due to having a deck designed to beat an opponent with equal stats.
