Half-bloods Are they worth it now?

My question "Are Half-Bloods worth farming now?"
I have heard that the drop rate is now 2%. That still sounds like it is not worth while.
Will edit as I learn more.

It certainly feels like I am winning much more upgraded cards then just 2%.
The reason why I have always liked farming AI5 is that it's much more fun and diverse then AI3 and the chances of winning are double compared to winning from a random FG.

I'm not saying it's the best way to gain score/elec but I think it's a fun way. If you manage to do it quickly with EM's I think the score gain is okay aswell.

I haven't hit them hard, but I get the occasional upped card. It's simply way more relaxed and you win often. Last time I checked I could get an upped in 30 minutes, that was about 15/17 games. I think it's good enough. Losing to the FG's is no picknick and costly. (I do both)

Depends on the deck, the faster it is the more worth it. Ex:

Mono Aether vs Rainbow against HB

Mono Aether-> Faster of the 2, CC is useless with the exception of shields.

Rainbow-> Slow, more EM's, able to get through shields with steal or lucky mutation. Need to wait for Quints to avoid CC

It's debatable but FGs has always been a better choice since all the cards you win are upgraded.
HBs are still a AI you can consider grinding though.

I've started grinding HBs with the deck in the general area, thread title is "How to farm Half Bloods in about 5 minutes"

Win rate feels over 50%, not sure exactly as I've been altering some cards.

Only won 2 cards so far after say... 25ish games, but the cards I won were Miracle and Arctic Squid, so thats cool.  Against some HBs the deck allows you to stall pretty well to make sure your win is an EM, which is nice for the cash.

I'll have to keep track of the drop rate.


EDIT:  Just played 20 games against HBs.  Won 10, of which 4 were EMs, got 3 upped cards, and 2 unupped cards.

5 games, if I didn't miss any. 5 wins. 1 rare and 1 upped. (Discord+Dissipation field)

It doesn't get much better than that. No electrum losses and still card wins

Half bloods seem to be full of luck. 4 of those 5 upped cards I won, were in the first 6 games lol. I think half bloods are just too random if you are facing them for the cards.

Yes, that is a very good run.

In the next 15 games I won 2 rares and 1 regular. That is actually worse than 1 upped per 10 wins, even if I add the other win from 5 games. You don't know. Maybe if I play 10 more I win 2

Somehow I went through a run of 20 wins where not one card, even unupgraded against HB...

I tried farming half-bloods a few weeks ago and decided that it simply wasn't worth it.  Even if you leave aside the farming decks, Top 50 seems to pay off much better -- you can play 3-4x as many games in the same time, plus you are MUCH more likely to get cards since so many decks have six of each.
