Someone who is really smart please do the below:

Write a spreadsheet that can recognize the card codes. Make 3 tabs for each round: Vault, Used, Unused.

1. "Vault" tab will be the same as now.
2. "Used" tab will have 8 slots for your potential deck codes. Input your codes and the spreadsheet automatically generates a mini vault of "USED" cards. This is not your vault, but shows you what cards you have used.
3. "Unused" tab would be "Vault" (minus) "Used". If any of the values are negative, you know you made a mistake and are using cards that don't exist.

this would be SOOOOOOOO HELPFUL OMG!@! i mean this would not only give everyone more time to focus on deckbuilding and ease the amount of time wasted on math, but it would also prevent cheating and keep people honest. It would be REALLY easy to audit the vaults with these tabs.

I would make it myself but my only hangup is that I can't figure out how or if it is possible for a spreadsheet to read specific card codes in a string and understand them. If someone can figure out how to extract specific card codes from a deck code in a spreadsheet we are set.

Just to make it clear, we need to figure out how to take this:

4sa 4sa 4sa 4t3 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5um 5um 5um 5um 5un 5un 5un 5uo 5up 5up 5up 5uq 5us 5us 5us 61o 61o 61o 61o 61p 61q 61r 61s 8pt
put that deck code in a single cell, and then in other cells pops out:

quantum pillar3
dagger1
obsidian pillar12
etc.

the deck image generator already knows how to do this so I suspect it is also possible in an excel file/ google doc. Once we have that, we can make the Vault/Used/Unused system.

thanks for your time.

I updated the vault. I have no confidence in my accuracy or math though. I can't figure out where 3 of our supposed 7 unused cards are.

too tired to try any harder...

well that is it folks.

Practice with your decks and good luck. I did my best. Unfortunately I won't be able to help much next week as I am starting school.

you are taking that funky trio i made.

As long as rng doesn't screw you, it actually kind of works in a klunky way. i was able to fractal frogs and get an OE up which is pretty powerful if you can get all of that. On a bad draw though you might be stuck with 4 wind pillars and no air cards to play so.... pray to the rng for good hands.

the only we we can take 6 real decks is if wavedash doesn't take air but instead takes only aether/life. Its the ONLY WAY.

Sorry.

The only way there is any chance not to suicide is if wavedash takes on some crappy aether cards.

Otherwise we have to suicide. I would normally consider suicide but it's really only worth it if it allows us to have 5/6 decks be AWESOME-TESTED-BADASS and 1/6 be suicide. Unfortunately, with our limited time we would more likely have 5 okay barely tested decks and 1 suicide. That makes me think we should just take 6 okay barely tested decks and give ourselves some hope that we have a chance to win.

Sadly, no one ever suicides against Life -  :(

damnit all of these small number of cards in different elements combined with the event card is screwing us.

We may need to suicide. I can't foresee us being able to make the math work so that we don't have to suicide. The ridiculous thing is we have some pretty decent decks. The problem is our limitation to convert only 24 cards. By my count, if we convert 24 we have 14 leftover (meaning a 7 card deficit...)

I will work on the math right now but it doesn't look good. If we have to suicide - I vote to do it against water since we are facing a general there.

temporarily reduced the vault - it contains our bare bones cards without any saves from losses or salvages from wins.

PS we cant salvage from the first deck right? I think that I mistakenly overlooked that.

Its due to subbing - but I think you arent allowed to salvage. Correct me if I am wrong please because there are some nice cards. I am pretty sure you can't salvage and pay the penalty from the vault but rather give up salvage rights when you sub?

Guys for the death decks - we currently have 3 bone pillars and 2 death pendulums - we could use those. Also, we have skull shields. I vote we use them they are cheaper to play than thorn carapace - we can put our thorn ccarapace and the skull shields in the same deck no problem too if we want.
