Elements Card Tracking Googlesheet (ver 1.30 ready)
First of all, yeah the name is kinda lame. Didn't bother to find a better one.
Similar to the card tracking spreadsheet made by SV (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13271.0.html) (and reposted/maintained by pika (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,30399.0.html) and light_sefi (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,32282.0.html)), but this time it's in googledocs!
Some may have noticed that whenever I posted in Dragoon's thread, I mentioned the % of my completion for the basic set. I had this in MS Excel long time
ago, but it was ugly (because I'm just lazy!). During the last holiday break, I decided to put it in googlesheet because I remember it has quite a few functions that Excel doesn't have. It definitely reduce a lot of vertical scrolling compared to my excel version. And with some encouragement few days ago, I begin to "beautify" the googlesheet and decided to share it here.
Ok, how to get your own copy:
- Log in to your google account (if you don't have one, create!)
- Open the googlesheet (both links work, but the first one is easier because everything is empty)
- In the menu bar, choose File > Make a copy...
- All tabs in your copy will not be protected and you can start using it.
The two googlesheets in the link are kept protected so that no one will bork them.
Incoming massive wall of text!
Basic Descriptions and How to UseA. Main- This is where you will fill your card counts.
- It's slightly unfriendly to newbies because some upgraded cards don't have the same name as the normal ones. But I'm sure you'll manage that easy enough. If not, use the wiki!
- The cards are (supposedly) arranged by the order in the game's bazzar/deck editor screen except for the mark cards. I feel it's much easier this way.
B. Stats- This tab acts as a summary of your card collection. Personally, I think this tab is too colourful! >_<
- By default, the percentage is counted towards the Basic Edition. The terms Basic, Standard and Trainer Edition are based on Dragoon's thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,9584.0.html).
- You can change your "goal" by using the dropdown box in cell C4 (the blue box at the top left).
- You can also input your in the box in cell O4 (the blue box at the top right). If you have enough money, a message at the bottom will notify that you can complete your collection for one or some elements.
- I'm not really good at naming stuff, so some of the column names probably don't make sense.
Sub Total means the total (normal or upgraded) cards you have in that particular element including excess amount of unneeded copies and super rare cards namely nymphs and mark cards.
[/li]
Norm'd is actually normalized. I can't find a better word for it and the full word is just too long. Normalized here means the total (normal or upgraded) cards you have in that particular element EXCLUDING excess amount of unneeded copies and super rare cards.
[/li]
% is well.. percentage. It's the percentage showing how much you achieved for that particular (normal, upgraded or both) element.
[/li]
Cost to Buy/Upgrade means how much
you need to complete that particular element for your chosen set (Basic, Standard or Trainer)
[/li]
Sell Value means the
you can possibly get if you sell all of the excess cards in that particular element. E.g. extra pillars/pends, extra rares, relics, etc.
[/li]
Nett Value means the total value for all cards in that particular element. This is calculated based on the selling price.
[/li][/list]
C. Deck Cost- This tab helps you to decide if you can afford a certain deck or not. I can't say that I'm really proud of this "cute" tool, but as far as the tests I did, it works. It's not really that useful either since copy-pasting deck codes into the game and basic calculations are not rocket science! But hey, I think it's a nice thing to have.
- Basically it works by comparing the deck codes you put in cell D5 (the blue box.. again) with the cards that you have (or at least the numbers that you input in the main tab).
- It will also show how much needed to buy and/or upgrade.
- Since rares and "super" rares cannot be bought, the quantity of the rare(s) will be shown instead.
- I didn't want to make it too complicated, the list of rare(s) needed will be shown under the "Need to buy/find" column. Again, this might not be friendly to newbies since you need to know whether the cards are indeed rares or not. But then again, if you need help with this one, read the wiki!
D. stuff- Nothing here concerns you. Unless you want to "steal" the formula.
- Seriously, nothing's here and I suggest that you protect (lock) this tab once you made your own copy.
- Oh wait... there's something here for you to mess around with. When zanz release the ver 1.30, most probably along with the new shards, you can add the data in the respective cells i.e. the codes, selling price, etc.
- Or... you can just wait for me to post the updated sheet when the time comes.
21 Jan 2012
- Fixed cost to buy/upgrade formula when <6 cards obtained.
- Fixed old values for Deflagration.
I'm pretty sure there's something I missed either in the wall of text above or the googlesheet itself. Let me know if you have any questions. And if anyone wondering, the sheet in the second link is my current collection. Still at 76.98% for the Basic Edition... >_>
