against Light, I think a discord/BH would work well.  it could prevent miracles and light usually runs straight duo and if they run immolition/phoenix thats even better

Edit: just read memory/s post again....dang it

Games went as Dragoon1140 said pretty much.  The difference between the game I won and the games I lost was an early EE.  This allowed for a lot of pressure to be taken of me because I could have CC whenever he flew things, meaning Wings was a little less important.
If I didn't get an EE, it was essential that I had wings, but due to him RTing everything I played, it was tough for me to get the Wings i needed.

The game he left in the middle I was ridiculously happy with my hand, but thats how the game goes.  Great deck Dragoon1140, and I look forward to playing you again some day!

My thoughts:

vs Darkness

I like blessed otys.  I do see that drain life could be a problem, but I think odds will be in our favor with that match up.  Also, don't put in Titans obviously in case of steal.  Also holy light ftw against darkness.

vs Entropy

i agree with both Memory and Napalm.  The less we rely on pillars the better.

vs Aether

I think earth is the best route.  I completely destroyed them last time with a Discord deck.  DESTROYED (second game he didn't get to play a single card the whole game).  So they have no choice but to prepare for that.  Maybe aether/darkness with steal.  So if we play earth, hope they rely on pillars for darkness quanta and destroy them asap.  Or if their mark is darkness, destroy aether pillars to prevent fractal.  Again, be careful with Titans since they might run darkness.

vs Death

I like water.  Agreed.  And we haven't played a deck with water very often so hopefully it will catch them off-guard.

vs Fire

I really like Aether deck here.  Lightnings are nice because all their creatures have low hp, and quints can keep our's from dying.  Quint'd chargers ftw

vs Light

Time deck.

vs Time

I think we could go with an Air/Titan deck.  Wings is always good.  Flying titans are really effective against any stall deck.  Thats the best I can think of haha

vs Water

Discord/BE.  Water is heavily dependent on its quanta most of the time and depend on playing long matches to build up.  Discord will stop them here I think.

Sorry about the mix-up.  I thought I was supposed to use the discord deck...did it get switched at some point?  I feel like a retard :/  if you want me to sit out, I would definately understand (although I dont want to!)

Very nice matches.

Game 1- I only had a single pillar in my starting hand.  He was able to play his discord the turn before I could've and it was pretty downhill from there.  He actually only had one pillar also, which saw good for him.  His low quanta production prevented me from gaining much life near the end of the match.

Game 2- My quanta levels were a lot better this game.  He did play a VERY early discord and flying Arsenic.  I was eventually able to block his discord with Armagio, but the Arsenic was eventually too much for me since it was played so early.  I would have had a chance this game if I could have drawn another charger.  I only had one, and a hand full of 3 discords for the last 5 turns or so.  He killed me when he only had ~20hp left, so another charger would have really made a big difference.

Good job SnoWeb!

I also really like this deck.  I think it could be effective against Entropy.  If anything, it could use more pendulums and less pillars.  Any ideas/suggestions/comments are of course welcome!   :)

I like a deck like this for facing Entropy.  Zeru used a similar deck last round against us last round and I tweaked it for our use.  Any thoughts?

Pretty uneventful matches.  Round 1 got out early discord and a couple chargers.  He had lots of pillars so he was able to copy both chargers and play a single dim shield and a late lobo, but BH/Discord combo made it pretty one sided.

Round 2- he only got 1 aether pillar to start and I had a great opening hand.  Got out early discord and kept him completely quanta drained with BHs the whole match.  He didn't even get to play a single card the whole match.

Good matches Boingo.  I honestly don't know what your deck was, but I am going to guess I had a very effective counter to it.

I guess we are hoping that Aether doesn't pack lightnings.........

if they do, they can kill all my chargers (the only solid source of damage).  They might waste some on the first game on the Armagios, but they won't make that mistake in the next two games.

So here's what I have come up with.

Code: [Select]
4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55m 55m 55m 55m 55m 55p 55p 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v 568 576 576 576
Discord/BH for huge health gain.  Also, should slow down aether.

Gravity shield to stop aether dragons.  Any damage done by spiders or any other creature should be handled by BH gain.

I put in armagios and made the deck a little big in case they are packing lightnings and can insta-kill my chargers.  If they kill all my chargers, I can hopefully stall to deckout

I put in 3 pillars so that I can have a chance to get discord out 3rd turn.  It is kinda a low-ish chance, but I don't see the pillars hurting anything.

Gravity nymph because I can.   :P    and can really help if I am trying to deck them out.
