Rainbow Decks / [[[ Instant Win Rainbow Deck ]]]
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:35 pm »

if the plan is to kill asap, you wont bother with bone walls - the theory is to take the hits in the face and out-damage your opponent. i'd chuck out the bone walls and ulitharid.

my most successful speed deck has used immolate/photons/novas with lava golems, and usually (about 3/4 of the time) wins in 5-6 turns (18-19 cards remain on deck, with 31 card deck), and the rest within the next couple of turns. wins 95% of the time vs level 3, decent in pvp, but stands almost no chance to false gods as pure speed decks are doomed to fail against an unbalanced opponent like the gods.

[p.s. the deck i used above was fully un-upgraded]

General Discussion / what happens when the desktop is full?
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:35 pm »

i found out myself  :D with boneyards the skellies just dont get generated. if you try to summon a creature from your hand or from say a ffq, it tells you there are no creature slots available. presumably a similar message is also shown for permanents if there's no space left.

Rainbow Decks / My Crazy Rainbow Mutation Deck

you have 220,500 coins worth of upgrades there, seeing as you said you have never played against gods.

curious how you have upgraded versions of what are useless cards -skeletons, antlions, etc

but u know, whatever  ;)

General Discussion / upgraded mutation vs upgraded fallen elf
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:30 pm »

is there a difference between the effects?

the improved mutation card reads:
Mutate the target creature into a superior mutant

the fallen druid card reads:
(1 Life quanta): Improved mutation.
Mutate the target creature into a mutant.

the only word that's got me is superior mutant in the improved mutation card, and whether than means something more than a mere mutant.

Deck Help / Zero Pillar Immolation Deck

i run a pillarless speeddeck with good success. you don't necessarily need to think you need a card(s) to counter every situation. instead why not impose your presence instead  :D you'll find a focused deck more dependable than waiting for that one card in your whole deck that appears every 5 games.

i remember pulling a huge dragon with steal (and taking his shield, weapon, and pillars  :D). anything with a big attack is always great with dive. i remember mutating something to a 13/something with dive, then paralleling it to a 26/something (which itself had dive for 52)
