gg Rohlfo. It was close, and when I saw yours I was like: Damn, I should've thought of that.
A lot of these were really close. Good luck everyone who moved on. Better luck next time for those unlucky enough to be beaten by a few votes.
gg. Truth is I had loads of ideas (well, 6 to be precise), really hard to choose, and some you may yet see hit the smithy once I finalise them....I was so close to doing this idea instead I even had the card uploaded and ready:

There was a really obvious reason why this card wouldn't be that great which is why I changed it in the end but can't remember what it was lol

My third favourite idea of mine was to do a creature which caused a nova when it died, who knows how these would have done instead of what I did...
In general I think this war is great for coming up with great ideas  :)

Fury: has a 100/X % chance to deal quadruple damage. X=attack. (upped+unupped)
hmmm, someone playing Tyrant?  ;)

think these series are a great idea!
And great art ET

I'm unsure about this one as I couldn't see the ability being used often? As far as I'm aware there are no cards yet which have some form of (minor) benefit from being discarded. If you have  :time then you're more likely to go for hourglass for drawing card ability :s

I can't say I've followed the discussion on these much, so not sure of other options. What might be interesting is something like, discard one card, your opponent doesn't draw a card next turn, although that would lead to unwanted lockdowns...
Do not compare this to Hourglass. Compare 2x this +4precognitions to 6 precognitions.
It can also be used a draw fixing (although most current decks eliminate the need for draw fixing in the deck design stage. There is a cost for that and this is an alternative.)

That said If you can come up with a better effect, noting that such effect would have to be weak considering it only costs 2quanta and does not cost a draw, then we will change it.
I didn't mean to compare directly as one to one. Just saying that should I have a deck with  :time and want something to draw cards with I'd most likely choose the hourglass over this (imo).
I'd love to come up with an alternative, and should I, I will post. It's not that I don't like the idea or disagree with it, just looking at the game atm I think this one would be more underused than the other Obelisks.

edit: if you wanted to change the aether obilisk to something like target creature is immaterial for a turn (or something else), this could get the delay effect. "slow down time" kinda slant on it. Not saying that's a great solution, just a thought.

good work!
I've not read everything in here, not got huge amounts of time atm :s but it looks really interesting and awesome!

only got one potential idea to add to the ideas pot, will post if I think of more:

:earth Monolith: Each turn  :earth is generated. When Earth Monolith comes into play, burrow target creature. (they then get 0:unborrow ability, although perhaps only after 1 turn so as to use offensively as well as defense?)

Entropy Monolith could also just have a random ability happen which is chosen randomly from all the other monoliths' abilities?

Also think the Fire monolith is possibly the most UP of all so far, not sure :s

Voting on some of these was almost heartbreaking. I came *this close to voting against myself, then realized how OP rohlfo's card is.
some are indeed really tough, I've still not voted on all, and might not be able to!

In response to mine being OP, I did worry about this, but I balaced if off the only card in the game to do something similar, black hole. It "burns" up to 36 quanta, and heals you for up to 36HP....now mine does only 10 burn (but more concentrated) and no heal.... Plus Sanctuary is in the game now...
