This was my approach and it worked out fantastically. The hourglasses not only protect your healing cards, but after she steals them she will draw herself to death. Fireshield is very important to kill off any dangerous nymph, after you PA her towers the game allways gets easy. The win is by deckout (which doesnt take very long thanks to the stolen hourglasses). Wait till your not in trouble before giving free hourglasses and dont play your healing cards until you think she is low on steals.

At the end of the game I usually have PAed: Her: QTs, My:Qts,1hourglass,1Eternity,1shard,(+1 fireshield that got swapped out for Jade shield after dangerous nymphs had an "unfortunate end")

EM is almost certain

Just had a minor thought, maybe the difference between upped/unuped could be that one costs 4 quanta and gives 3 and the other one costs 5 and gives 4? I cant see one case where it would be truly overpowered if it costs a quanta more than it gives but I think it would still be useful. For example your running a Rainbow which is very life, time and gravity (fairly random choices) but doesnt use much of the other elements? Just add a couple of flashes to balance and use unneeded quanta, but not too many because there is a price. Sorry if this sounds stupid or not thought through but it was just the first thing that came to mind after coming to the conclusion that the unupped seemed very balanced.

How about:
6xLight flash
6xGreen Flash
6xLeaf dragon
6xGreen Dragon
6xLight Tower
+Maybe a shield and weapon

Just a thought about how it might be Oped, an idea, the deck is completely untweaked and probs not yet oped but maybe it is, the point is the idea of light flash, Leaf dragon converting light to life quanta and then another light flash, i other words light flas give you 3 free quanta + an additional card.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing something that would balance mono decks and rainbow decks a little... As much as I would hate to see quantum towers get nerfed, it would make mono decks more competitive with rainbows... After the initial pain of a quantum tower nerf, I think it would actually be a good thing...
why not have the upgraded mono toweres produce 2 of that element rather than nerfing??
Cause than Monos would suddenly be way OPd...

Not sure I understand how the card works but Im thinking of a mono light with 6 blessings, 6 transcendence, 6 of that one horse thingy that ca double its attack, 12 light towers and mark of air :) Of course balancing would be required but I bet you can see the idea ;)

to be honest I still think its somewhat OPed, I mean yes it may take slightly longer to "kill" something, but the damage the creature does is reduced already from turn one and the creatures cant be healed. Not to mention, since the creatures arent dead, they will clog up the field. I could imagine that some combination with flood and vamps/shards/steals/puffer fish could be deadly

Rainbow Decks / Re: PuppyChow's FG Rainbow

Puppychow -

Nice deck and thanks for putting your idea out!  I've finally reached accomplished all the upgrades last week, and started tracking the performance of this deck.  For anyone that's interested, the results are here:

http://elementsstatistics.comxa.com/getstatistics.php?dv=4005244472

I only play a few games a day (10-20), so I'll hope to get this up to about 250-500 games before I switch over to testing a new deck for comparison...  I'm not sure if I've just been getting bad draws, or whether the 1.22 FG's are just that much smarter now, but I'm coming out at around a 40% win rate.

Thanks again for the idea, and I'll continue to use this deck for farming purposes, so the stats should continue to develop and become more accurate!
Ive been getting even less. Worst thing is I sold my completely upped Ray of Light/Fractal deck to make it. Bad idea it was.. What am I doing wrong? Im getting like 25% win rate and many games I cant even play a serious card at all  (serious= Oty, Fallen) without it getting killed. (and in the rare event that I get my quint and monster both in my hand before being almost dead...

Im using almos exactly the same deck as on first page of this forum, simply 3 Towers arent upped yet.

Very much like the new idea. It fits very well with my interpretation of how Fire should "taste"

The high cost and the slots used by the mask balance it well enough in my opinion.

RoL/Fractals would benefit more from an additional fractal than a mask which is not guaranteed to get you a fractal and costs a snotload. After all 3-4 Fractals are more than enough to fill the field. the rest is a waste and the first few fractals would not be affected by the doubling as they would be drawn before the quanta reached high enough amounts to play the masks.

An interesting place in my opinion is endgames with the time weapon thingy. Avoid decking out, draw a card, it doubles, you have one more card despite having to make one go back to your deck to avoid decking out! This could be gamebreaking in situations where both players have to do everything to avoid decking out.

Card Ideas and Art / Re: Convergence | Convergence

How about only being able to combine TWO creatures? I think it wouldn't be all too OPed once spam decks are out of the picture. besides the ability is random, you really wanna use 3 cards to get a card with an ability which may be only of limited use? Maybe the card would fit more with entropy? maybe dualcost aether/entropy if possible?
