heres another idea. :light VS  :darkness players pick what element  :darkness or  :light within 24hrs  b4 the match. to allow more players to be able to participate there will be an upped and an unupped bracket. and maybe even the winner form the upped can face the winner of the unupped just for kicks and giggles.

any quantum sounds good but it is kind of a gravity type effect and 1 quantum cost seems kinda low to destroy a perm so maybe like 3 or 4  :gravity  would make it not so op

with the first shard being +2/+0 it would let players use only one if they chose to, and after the first shard each stack is only +1/+0 so i don't see where 1 more dmg would make to much of a difference.

as for the other card ... LOL some one actually got what the word was but like i said the name will prolly be changed. as for its usefulness i think it would be useful for not just quantum denial but to generate extra quantum specifically for ur mark. i might come up with something diff like i stated b4 i had just come up with the idea while typing the first idea out.

well thanks for the advice about the search , but has this been done ? if not then what would be the next step to producing my ideas? any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

nice lil idea but drain how much hp for every card ? is it only 1hp per a card in hand ? nightmare with GoP and a cple silences would be OP

let me first say that this is still an incomplete idea and i apologize if its not in a satisfactory format for the picky reader(s) out there   

Name: SHARD OF FORTITUDE

Rareness: similar to current shards and will need to be upgraded to work

Cost: 8 random quanta

Effect: +2/+0 for every creature of users mark and -1/-0 to creatures of opponents mark 

Stack: yes , for every additional shard user brings out gain only +1/+0 and opponent gets -1/-0

Game play: while this would be a plus for rush decks the shards would counteract one another pretty much giving no bonus to either side. but for the more complex users of the game this could allow them to create ideas to counter the current flood of rush deck in the game.

Ideas about card: higher quanta cost and possibly cost entropy,  light or some other element that isn't  widely used for rush decks ( yes i know most any element has a rush) , the idea would be to slow down rush decks ( but not preventing)from using more then one of these quickly.

another idea is that the plus and minus only effect creatures of the users element (mark) and not the opponents mark (unless same mark ) this would keep pple from trying to just stack so that they render the opps creatures to 0 attack   

Another lil idea (idea 2)

Name: Shard of lecherousness ( is an actual word) , lol haven't come up with a good name for it yet

Rareness: same as above   

Cost: 5-8 random or other

Effect: kinda like pest, absorbs one random quanta from opponent and returns it to user as quanta of users mark and heals user for 1 hp ( just thought of the Hp thing ) at the end of users turn 

Stack: yes. only 6 so that's still only absorbing 6 random quanta and healing 6hp

Game play: gives players the opportunity to use a pest like card, and it would help with quantum denial decks.

Ideas: making this card have a high cost and have an element cost that isn't Aether , dark , or gravity would slow down ( but not prevent ) users from taking advantage of the quantum absorbing attributes to this card

lol u sic bastard ... im an amputee lost right arm up to the shoulder. long story so dnt ask for details. the screen shots is automatic as i am prone to short term memory lost so i like to keep track of things and its easier to press a few keys then to have to use a mouse left handed even with the settings changed.

so i take it u guys kinda sorta maybe like my new idea(s) ? the first one was what brought the idea of the field cards and nymphs and the second came to me while writing the first one here on this forum.

i will re post  the latest ideas in another forum as suggested but this one will stay open i guess and maybe get some ideas from it

another idea : name, shard of not decided name yet . kinda like pest it absorbs 1 random quanta (6 max if stacked ) returns quanta to user as what ever mark they have. cost prolly between 5 and 8 depends on how it would work, in u know 

now for the rest of u go ahead and say what u will about the way i type stuff up its kinda hard to hold shift and press another key with only one arm ( my off arm at that ) with out using a pencil between my teeth lol. as for u wanting to report me i do not care. if u give me ridicules reply's then u will get them in return. on another note is this really the way u welcome newbs to this site im sure if i were to report all this BS then u would get a warning too, the thing is I DO NOT CARE if i get banned oh well its only a website and i only responded to ur optimism the way u responded to my simple incomplete idea. for the rest of u ( 1 i think lol ) who have given me constructive criticism thank you and i will continue to develop my ideas.



p.s i have taken screen shots of all the post on this thread from the first silly response i got so .... go ahead and try me

dude i dnt see what the problem is it wouldn't have that big of an impact on the game. and the whole dark and death thing dsnt make since , this is a suggestion for al the elements not just dark i only used eclipse as an example ( which would have to be changed to say something like dsnt stack with field effects ) not as the only element to get this. as for the planes walker dude that didn't even accrue to me until a buddy showed me lol i havent played MTG in a looooong time. as for being larger then dragons i was thinking it would be the same or just a lil higher/lower and the ability would be passive and is the whole point to this idea + they would cost a lot more quanta to bring to the field. as for the name it could be changed to something diff.

yes i do understand this could overpower some rushes but with a +1/+2 to those elements would it really make a difference ? or would u have a better chance against a fire rush if u were to use a water/earth deck ? i think if we could find a way to balance this so that it dsnt overpower rush decks but still gives bonuses it would be great to use in the game.



another idea floating around is to use an aether shard ( or other element ) to bring this effect for whatever element u are using that way u couldn't just use mono fire or mono earth. but this would be difficult to add in to the game programing wise. but all in all this is just one idea of several that i have to change the way we use strategies in elements
