General Discussion / Re: How old is this game?

The limited card pool is a good thing, actually, as it makes this game much more balanced and makes it different from other TCG's.

Buff This Card! / Re: Chimera
« on: October 20, 2010, 03:27:59 am »
While I personally dislike the Chimera, I've seen it used effectively in a number of decks. However, it doesn't help Mono-gravity AT ALL. Flying Titans + Gravity Pull is better usually, too.

Number 2) is the reason behind some Chimera decks, as little critters can be blocked by the pesky Permafrost Shield or Hope (!!!!).

As I said, I may start upping Water Towers after I'm done upping Time Pendulums for my Water/Time pvp duo deck.

Once I get grinding again, anyways.

Epic screenshots. Makes me want to play RoL/Hope.
Lol, mine isn't a RoL/Hope deck, it's no way near as efficient as RoL/Hope I would suspect, but it's way more fun because you are playing your opponents deck and thus a different deck every time. With mindgates, you can have more copies of a card than even the false god could have, and that alone creates lots of interesting scenarios quite often. The best of all is you always beat the false god at its own game. Morte end up having a lot more poison counter on him than I have when he is supposedly the king of poison and I my vultures had the best meal of their lives.
Oops, quoted the wrong thing. :/

Rainbow Decks / Re: (1.24) CC? Why bother?

Yeah, why bother basing your deck around CC when you could kill the crap out of fG's?

I can hear Morte crying, lol. Condors rarely gets this big, but this time it's like 2 death trigger decks pitted against each other. Notice the Condor in the middle with 10 poison counters, it is the sole survivor of the brutal plague onslaught on my side. The other condors are all played afterward. It only managed to survive because both side constantly have half the field of creature dying. 84 attack is awesome isn't it? This game is the most fun I've ever had with death. It's a pretty close game though, morte had about 50 bonewall at one point, eventually it's bogged down by my horde of condors. So close to deck out, but again, I beat the FG at its own game. :P

Meh, I noticed this thread and decided to take a few screenshots for posterity sake :P

Rainbow decking himself out

Rainbow not drawing a single creature (which is the first time I ever saw this)

EP just got done RoF me the turn before and I just drew into the Light Dragon! Close call  :o
Epic screenshots. Makes me want to play RoL/Hope.

Like the birthday paradox.

Example: 5 creatures
Turns 1-5, 3 hit, 2 miss, you don't care
Turn 6 all miss.
You complain. it is 50%. Statitions continue to laugh

That is exactly what happens. It is a proven fact that humans remember bad things more than they remember good things. Have you ever thought that people (parents, your spouse) always criticize you on the bad stuff you do but never remember the good stuff you do? Exactly.

I saw Guinea Pig as thread title. I immediately though "moomoose." :D

But hey, this one's actually kind of nice.

Trio & Quartet / Re: Graviton Fractalmasters

Well... I would love to try a version of this as well... but I must point out that 0/6 hp Graviton Masters are, as you stated above, slower and much easier to kill than 4/1 Minor Phoenixes :P.

I rest my case :))
Thunderstorm/Plague + Bone Wall. Also, I'm not a rush deck user.

I rest my case.

@Nadrin: Cremation + Fractal works like a charm. You get the 1 :gravity back from Cremate, too.

Ah that makes sense.  I might try adding my other air nymph in later, for now I'll keep testing with one.  I guess I just don't like the idea of having a clogged hand from nymphs, or having to play nymphs without the ability to fund them.

Ok who the hell turned off the fg spins?  0 cards from my last 11 wins (33 individual spins) >:(
I guess zanz just REALLY doesn't want me to make my scarab charge...
Zanz doesn't want me to finish upgrading my ~15 time pendulums either. :(

Hmm how would this deck be if I added my purple nymph in? :P
My revised version:
Code: [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rq 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u7 6ug 77f 77f 7dq 7dq 7gp 7gp 7ng 7ng 7q5 7q5 7q5 80h 80h 80h 80iI upped the damage potential by adding a 2nd Air Nymph and putting Fractal back in.  I feel it plays quicker, but I haven't taken the time to record 100 games yet.
Fractal + 3 Quints really won't work, especially since Fractal drains all Aether.
Actually, I don't usually play Fractal until the mid-to-late part of the game, so it hasn't been a problem for me.
That's why I took the Fractal out in my variation in favor  of a Quint - it messes up the hand and wastes a card space early on.

Just saw this going through. Did you make it before I made mine? lol
Definately, which is why I was mad at you for making a Fractal Masters deck. xD (I even linked this thread in your thread)
