No, Just no.

If recent MtG ideas keep getting suggested I'm going to hurt someone. Go play that game if you like it's features.

Also thanks a lot. The Rocky card made me go play Demigod.

Rainbow Decks / The ULTIMATE False God killing deck!!!
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:02 pm »

Did this and switched out for the Demon as said. Only thing I don't have is an Eagle's Eye use a Pulverizer instead.  Case in point? It does kinda suck. It win's pretty close to the guy above me in percentage.
An unupgraded deck with a 40% win rate against the FGs seems pretty good to me. Kind of the anti-suck  :P

But if you have a better win percentage non-upgraded deck, I'd like to see it!
Ya, but it's not really worse than most other decks.  40 cards - 10 towers, 6 supernova.  It's a pretty normal ratio.  I'm only using 3 extra cards and two of those are hourglasses.  I do get some bad draws, but if I stick with it I usually pull out a win.  The 15-20% of losses comes from the times I can't pull out a win.  The only problem I get a lot is I tend not to get sundials as much as I'd like.

BTW someone on chat told me they beat their first god today using my deck without it being upgraded.  The first god he beat was Seism.
I read that and tried it. Seems to get the job done.

#6 Non-upgraded version

This is something I would probably play if I had to start all over again. You might want to consider taking Maxwell's Demon instead of Fallen Elf (that's what I had when I started). I didn't have time to test this so if you think this deck sucks, please let me know.

Gravity / Skillgannon's Speed Blitzing: Mono-Gravity
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:02 pm »

Well, since upgraded Animate Weapons use a random quantum to cast, wouldn't it still be considered mono-Gravity since you're still only using Gravity Quanta? I posted a deck similar to this, using Animated Titans and Gravity pulls for my attack AND defence, with Otys as creature control. It worked alright, but yeah, Gravity just isn't that great of a mono-deck.
Yes, colorless quantums don't take away from the Mono-theme. So it's a viable option.

Good and simple mono-gravity is..

12 x Tower
6 x Charger
6 x Mercenary
6 x Gravity Pull

Replace one Charger with Titan if you have it.
Perhaps, but covers a lot less bases.

And gravity bomb should probably have another name, as it sounds like a spell as is. perhaps magna-droid? no tha'ts terrible, i'm not very creative anyway though. and i'm assuming that it should target the highest hp? or lowest, if it were all the opposing creatures then it would just be like a 6 attack rain or fire that was endless (you could kill it but if would at least hit 6)
How about "Force Entity"?
Black Hole
The card is a creature. Black Hole doesn't sound like a creature to me. It sounds like a spell, similar to Dark Hole from Yu-Gi-Oh, I would think. =/
Black hole can be whatever an elementist wants it to be. To be honest I wouldn't think deja vu is a creature either.

General Discussion / Gravity Pull and Shriekers
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:00 pm »

I think it's like that on purpose. The reason is Gravity Pull is an outside factor on a creature while infections and Immaterial are internal effects. When you burrow you aren't effected by outside forces like gravity.

Granted I could be wrong, but that's my take.

Game Suggestions and Feedback / Master Mark (Mark x 2)

Way too stong an early game start. Doubly so in PvP for those will less time to grind 1000 god wins. If anything I would like to see the AI get smart enough to a point we can take away some of the handicaps that have to be placed on us.

Game Suggestions and Feedback / Deja Vu
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:00 pm »

I like it. I however suggest that the original creates 1/1 Phantom Deja Vu. This keeps anything from copying over.
Then it wouldn't be any better than a FFQ. The point of Deja Vu is to buff it, and then split it into duplicates. I think that if this does happen, Deja Vu's cost will be raised from 1 Time to probably 5 or 6 Time, and the cost for it's ability could either be what EH suggested, or a flat rate of 3 to 4 Time quantum, or perhaps equal to it's Power, etc.
It doesn't have to be better. It's perhaps faster, and lets you play in another element. Letting me do the same thing pretty much in another element is just as awesome. I don't mind diversity.
What I was getting at was that if it only made 1/1 weakling clones, or 2/2 Elite clones, then what would be the point of playing it? Sure, it's a bit cheaper, but Boneyards and FFQs would still be so much better that there'd be no point in playing it. Also, it wouldn't make sense to have a beefed up Deja Vu split and have the clone be tiny instead of equal.
Just bouncing off his idea and trying to work it. To be honest I would like the thing two put the ability on all of them and just copy itself on both over and over. Just limit it to the original unbuffed copy everytime. That would be scary enough.
