the Oracle card was parallel universe
final record 87 wins, 34 losses

napalm won 2-0
i knew that she would be almost impossible to beat, and she was
even with my decks being built to counter hers

game 1
Code: [Select]
593 593 593 593 593 593 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f6 5fc 5fc 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 7dq 7dq 7dq 7dq 7ds 7ds 7ds 7dsearly brain-storming lead me (and my team) to believe that the 3 most likely decks she would play were fractix,
fire rush, and fire stall. this deck was built to counter 2 of those. the earthquakes were to slow aether quanta(and ruin firebolt build-up), and the phoenixes to survive CC...
it did not work

nice early hand (5 pillars) got out a 2nd turn lava destroyer, which she later lightninged
my earthquake was to late to stop the fractal and the immos brought out the phoenixes, ahd she won the damage race

game 2
Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f5 5f5 5f6 5f7 5f7 5f7 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 7ai 7ai 7ai 7ai 7ai 7ai 7dg 7dmagain this deck was made for anti fire-rush. and she still killed me with a fire rush
later game i did not draw cc for her golem
she also used the immos and phoenixes very well to get maximum firepower out.

screen shot (on my last turn i put a useless rage pot on her golem, it was not a strategic act but just me acting on my "arg"reflex)http://img8.imageshack.us/i/bodokangame2napalm.jpg/

as a last note, fire rush, version Napalm Grenade is the only deck that i use for top 50 (big fan of the deck)
so these matches were, 3 parts HUGE honor to face a master,1 part strategy and 8 parts pants wetting horror/dread

good games Napalm

I don't get why people don't fully upgrade the firebolt/phase shield deck. I mean, you can basically use it every day.
most people have a limited amount of upgrades
they (or at least me) want to upgrade decks that have the most use (in their eyes)
for me those were ccyb and immo rush
this is a situational deck

sorry if i seem rude, but (to me) your wording seemed to imply that upping cards is a trivial act

do the upgraded cards have to be from the elements of our aides?
or just any card in the deck?
it does not seem to be the first...
but i want to make sure, so that i don't use an illegal deck

Wow, this would be so helpful to deckbuilding when perfected. After all, nobody will ever get such a big testing sample as 10000 with real testing(because nobody will never play so many games to test a deck).
the amount of time to get to 10,000 game with normal testing is insane

assuming against low level AI with a super fast deck (one minute per game)
10,000 games, 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in a hour

you would have to play non-stop, no breaks, and no sleep for
6.95 days! :o :o :o :o
i can see how this can help with deckbuilding
