False Gods / Re: Need input/opinions on best 1.17 FG grinder

Using almost the same deck as SG's non-upped 40 card (the one linked) I can win probably 30% or so including the games I just abandon immediately on seeing my opponent.

Add in 1 more dimension shield, 2 quintessence, and 1 more quantum pillar and you have the deck I'm using.  Same seven upgrades as in SG's deck, plus about half my pillars (and elite queen, bone wall, and 1 bond, but I don't believe those make a big difference.  Got lucky and won the cards though so I use them).

Quit immediately against Divine Glory, Rainbow, Seism, Scorpio, Hermes, Obliterator, Graviton (you can win here but it takes a long time before you win or lose, so quitting immediately saves time and works out better), and if Morte gets an early arsenic when you don't have Steal in hand or a dimension shield chain ready to go.

You should win the rest more than half the time if you have upgraded hourglasses and Otys.  If you don't, they're still winnable but it won't be as consistent.

If you have fully upgraded decks available you can almost certainly do better than that deck though.

I think once I get 2 more Shards of Gratitude upgraded I may try to go Aether mark and rely on Dimension Shield instead of Sundial.  Use Aflatoxin to flood the opponent's side with Malignant Cells, then use Emerald/Ice/Titanium shield to make them harmless (Emerald seems nice since it has reflect and indestructable).  Once I come up with a decklist I'll post it here if it works, but I really think it wants SoG instead of Bonds since that frees up slots since you don't need graveyard or FFQ either then (and you probably win really slowly but I'm ok with that if it's more consistent).

As a costless card it'd still be hideously overpowered--compare it to photon or deja vu.  Photon is 1/1 for 0 with no abilities; deja vu is 1/1 that can duplicate exactly once for 2 total quanta.

Just because something has a counter doesn't mean it's not overpowered.

Forum Archive / Re: Best deck for grinding t50?

I was doing fine with an unupped poison deck (and I only have 1 arsenic to boot) vs top50 yesterday.  Made sure it was 31 cards so I wouldn't deck out with a bad draw vs shard farms.

Immortal Oty just means you play out the rest of your Chyrsaoras that you left in your hand so they didn't get Fire Storm'd.  Chances are you have enough damage on the board to outrace the Oty anyway.  The real problem is an immortal Queen, since she outraces your poison handily.

Game Suggestions and Feedback / Re: Chance to win upgraded cards

I don't find AI5 ever gives worthwhile rewards.  You get basically as much cash from grinding AI3 (or even top50), and the chance of winning an upgraded card is tiny compared to vs. false gods.

Unupped decks can win often enough vs false gods to make grinding them better than grinding AI5, even though your winrate might be something like 20% vs gods compared to 80% vs AI5 (as long as you know which gods are hopeless to fight, anyway--you just quit those matches immediately to cut your losses.  I quit immediately against Divine Glory, Rainbow, Scorpio, Obliterator, Seism, Hermes, and Graviton.  I also quit against Morte if he gets an early Arsenic and I have no Steal.  The rest were doable often enough to be worth the try even before I started upgrading my deck).  This probably nets you less Electrum per match, but you get in easily twice as many matches since you just abort half of them.

I think this prize discrepancy is ridiculous but that's rooted in the absurd difference in cost between upgraded and unupgraded cards.

I started earlier this week and have maybe 15 upgraded cards now, every one obtained either from false god spins or funded by selling false god spins.

I do think winning upgraded cards from top50 would be too easy.  I was farming them with an unupped deck earlier today and ended up making several hundred electrum as well as grabbing almost a full set of Shards (and some weapons).  I do think AI5 could use more upgraded cards though so winning them is not such a once-in-a-blue-moon event.
