Patch Notes and Development News / Re: Elements 1.26

first of all thanks to zanz for doing a great job!!!

looks lika an new great update to come... :)

just about the idea of t500 i am not so sure - of course the stupid farming should be somehow limited. on the other hand: the idea of rare cards that you might get very difficult is not a good one (especially if you realy need them to build competitive decks).

In my point rare cards (if this "rare thing" really is a must) should be more like collectors cards - quite "useless"  ;)

so if zanz puts a lot of effort in relizing new ideas - why limit players using them?

so...

greetings,
c.

Zanz could surely adjust this in a blink. Dunno if he will, but new QT have the worst art of all Elements history. Im also a bit sad about having that new earth tower, and that gravity tower without the planet like sphere. Other than that, new Tower arts are at least acceptable.

Puffer fish increased attack and reduced Titan health are also unpleasant. Lets hope new cards can compensate that.
Do you ever not complain? Every single patch all you do is complain and complain about how you hate this or hate that. It's a game that we don't have to pay for. Read Zanz's post about puffer-fish and about titans health decrease. As for the art, it's art, has nothing to do with the gameplay of the game, who are you to say that the art is, 'at least acceptable'?

I love the new patch. A lot of new cards, game play will change with pendulums, and awesome new art. Keep it up Zanz!
Actually I love the new patch as well! Everything is going to change & because of that I have no idea yet about the consequences of the changes of puffer fish & co...

of course this is going to make FG a little harder (skorpio...) but on the other hand - who knows how we are going to figth them in a few days...

BUT:

on the other hand I think that everyone shall have a right to write when he does not like something!!! i think noone shall be offended because of that - does not matter if the game is free or not! i even think that this kind of critics sometimes can give the developers good ideas as well!

and honestly now: do you like the art of the new QT? ;)

greetings,
c.

the only thing that would be even more confortable (if we talk about animations) would be in my opinion an option (button or what ever) to swich off most (as much as possible) of the animations in any quality level!!!

I couldn't resist to read this post :D

I play (well... played because i got banned today for no reason that i know... :/ ) in my netbook Samsung nc10 and i have no problem at all. It has a 1.6 Intel atom and 1 giga ram.

I'm curious about if you have problems with another programs or games. I.E., if you try to play another game (fullscreen) do you get problems?

Also, are you using a Intel GMA 950 (integrated vga)? If so, you could try GMA BOOSTER (search for it in google). I use that so i can play warcraft III on my netbook at 25-35 fps (low but incredibly playable).

Another program that i would recommend is GAME BOOSTER (search for it again XD). A friend of mine got a problem like yours with a game and with that program he could "hide" (i think close is a better word for that) anything that isn't needed to be processed and you can get a notorious improvement.

I wish i could help.

Pd: sorry for my english... i'm from Chile so i talk in spanish ;D
Pd2: i want to play :(

See ya!
muchas grazias hombre!

tienes otras ideas?

spero que tu vas a resolver tus problemas con tu destierro!!!

muchas grazias,

Unfortunately it is your CPU.

I'm running a 1 GB, 1.66GHZ Atom with Hyperthreading and I can play Elements quite ok with another flash heavy window minimized. I'm on an Asus 1000HE, if it counts for anything.
what do you mean with "another flash heavy window minimized"?

the temperature is not the problem! (now i know also the sense of speedfan ;) - never more than 45°
ill try to install XP next week and hope its going to work better then!

this is what i have:

would be hard for me if selling would be the only solution... :(
