Alright

Just so you're not in the dark.

I'm leaving tomorrow around 1500 EST to go on a hiking trip. I will arrive back to Cornell university campus around 11 am on August 20th at which time i'll unpack my things and probably be busy for most of the day with orientation things. I'll try at that point to post some status on the forum from my phone if not from my computer about my internet and ability to play. Hopefully i'll just see rav tomorrow or today and we won't have to deal with all that

It's no problem if you can't play for the next few days, Bojengles. We aren't really in any rush.
Alright thank you for the breathing room. I'm just hoping to get it in beforehand since moving into school may mean no internet even for a couple days after I get there. Who knows.

Sorry i've just been extremely busy lately I'm leaving for a 4 day hike and then college on Saturday so preparations are taking over my days. I'll try to be on tomorrow around 6 Eastern Standard Time, but that's just a time frame, i'll be on as often as I can around that time. If that doesn't work for you at all let me know.

Q: "Time is generally separated into 3 aspects. Past, Present, and Future. Which 'aspect' of time do you feel you connect with the best and why?"

[@bojengles77 + @Xinef: Sorry about the rant - hopefully you guys will answer my question as well. ^^;]
I'd Have to say I'm most connected to the Future, undoubtedly. Although there are important lessons to be learned from the past, and we are defined by what we do in the present, the future is where all our hopes and aspirations live and I think it captures the essence of time the best. I'm always looking on to the next thing, trying to improve upon what I already have; hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

For as long as I can remember, I've been trying to improve in my personality, my education, and any venture I decided to begin. Today, I'm preparing to go off to college next year and be on my own. Even though I'm enjoying the summer and everything that comes with it, my mind always seems to float away to thoughts of college and what I'm gonna need to succeed there. Next is a career, a family, and whatever else the future holds. I suppose this has to involved the present, because everything I want to achieve in the future, I have to plan for now and begin now, it merely ends in the future. But i'm a person who's always trying to do the next best thing and fill the future with my dreams and accomplishments. There's nothing more fun than filling up a blank slate.

Actually for a brief moment I had the honor of 2 icons below my name. Before the PvP organizers were split into different titles (league, tournament, etc) I was a moderator in the tournament section, and when SG made me a PvP Organizer, I had 4 :water and 4 :life for about a minute. Needless to say, it wasn't a big feat, just an accident.

Thanks Xinef!  :) Although, I get this weird feeling that no matter what happens, Phase 3 is going to be brutal against PVP league organizer bojengles. O_o
Pft.. playing with whatever deck I want and playing with :time are two different things. It's a whole new arena, I'm really excited to be part of these trials either way, I'm convinced they're the most competitive.

Now we have to decide whether Kael Hate or Antagon have cooler icons under their name.

It's a toss up

I vote for bloodshadow. He seems to exemplify :darkness, while Kael seems to exemplify evil. There's a significant difference.
Sounds like only one reason to me :-p

This is mostly playful argument on my part by the way.
Yeah, me too no worries ;)

Anyways, I wasn't given a perfect candidate in any of the trials. I took in the candidates, considered their qualities and who I'd want to be master, and casted my vote. Simple as that

I wasn't aware that being active in chat was required of a master. I don't think there's much of a need to be active in the chat. Not much happens there, other than Zanz showing up occasionally to reveal cards or get feedback or answer questions (or maybe just to chat :-P ). I see him on most days though. Are you sure you just aren't on when he is? And how active is active?
Is there a list of things "required of a master" somewhere that i didn't know about? In my book, being active in chat is a large plus. And he tends to be in chat, but very often is AFK. Chat is the best place for personal interactions to get to know other people in the community.
I'm pretty sure there is a list of what masters are expected/required to do.

Also, if you're basing your votes off of who is active in the community, why did you vote for Bloodshadow? He's never in chat, I've never seen him in a tournament, and most of his topics are card ideas and art. Kael comes to chat, has played in tournaments, and, yes, many of his topics/posts are card ideas, but outside of that section it is clear that his understanding of the game is superb. He's also on more than anyone else, except SG, who doesn't count :-p
I'm basing my vote off a lot of things, activity is simply an important criterion.

I voted for Kuro because he's the underdog and I think he could do just as good a job as Xinef and Bojengles.
I agree. I think :time trials are going to be tough from beginning to end, because it's one of the only trials where everyone involved is qualified.
