So, is there a better farming build for newbies? I'm trying to build up my coins and get to 500 and it seems like I'm just wasting time with this build. I've been doing mostly level 3, and it does OK - but I lose 1 out of 3 and my score has actually gone down since I've started. I just would like something I can build towards and it seems like I'm wasting a ton of time playing as I don't really know where to go from here.

I'd like to join as an apprentice as well. I just joined up this week and my head is spinning. I've restarted 3 times and still am not sure what to do 
. I've tried some of the canned decks, but I'd rather learn a little more about strategy and long term goals as well.
My forum name is Arles and I play this during the day during the week (10-6 EST) and later at night some days. If someone contacts me, I can try to adjust to when they are online.

I don't know, maybe just grinding over time lets you 54% of the time. But, I've faced 10 half bloods and lost to 6 of them with this setup (even adding the steal function - which won 2 of the 4 games I had). All someone needs is an ability to destroy your shield (fire, butterfly, gravity, ...) and you're toast.

Actually, to be honest, I can't even beat a well-played level 3 time mark with good use of empathy and Pharaohs. They just get a bunch of scarabs out there and wait out my shields.

I've been trying this setup (swapped 2 steal for 1 immortal, use only pillars and use darkness mark). I've been getting destroyed by the top 50 so far. I can't imagine how brutal I'll get beaten by the half blood. Am I missing something here?

Quick Q. Why are the Aether Pendulum's there instead of the Aether Pillar? It seems that (esp if you add steal and the darkness mark) this isn't really adding anything.

Is the fire deck not that strong? Been getting my behind worked over pretty good in level 3 using this template.
