true that. i'm just referring to the unupped, since i can't afford a tower, only pillars...

Please, I'm saying things about the upped one. There's no cost for that.

You guys, AM is just from entropy... what about the other 11 elements? how do they counter a free boost to creatures. If there's gonna be a boost in a stat, there should be a cost (even if it means not generating quanta for the first turn). Having a pillar ability is good enough in itself. I've kinda changed my mind. It's above average, slightly under OP :P

Has the forum been down or something? This is the first successful access to this forum since two weeks ago!
Is it just me, or was the whole system down?

Humor / Re: One of our members is hacking again!!!
« on: April 05, 2011, 09:09:09 am »
I, agogo (note: My Username is Dretland!), have not hacked.
April fools joke much?
If the screenshot had the username Dretland, then I could've been deemed hacking. But if the user's IGN was agogo, then that's not my problem.

But you see SG I read the rules once more to see something

Hacking, using bots, exploiting, etc. This is the fastest way of getting a permanent ban. Keep in mind that even talking about these things in public is forbidden.

No you didn't mention how one would hack, but talking about hacking (in this case someone hacking), does cite a MEDIUM INFRACTION.

Personal attacks are not permitted - sectioned in Flaming, that joke is technically a personal attack (if not attack, annoyance [note: i am actually enjoying being subject of SG's joke, but for others... watch out])

Trolling: Do not post topics with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. Am I not disputing now? Eh? Hrmmm? I wonder...

Btw guys, you wasted my bandwidth on those pictures. It used up 1/3 of my daily usage.  :(

I agree, Time alreaday has draw power. Having a rainbow/entropy is already popular, but this could prove useful even more...

This is like a draw power for entropy. I like it however, the fact that you choose the card to return, and the card you receive is part of your own deck has very little element of randomness (the fact that its entropy)
So, sending a fractalled spark, with a lot of these chaos gates, does produce many opportunities.
If the drawn card was random, it would suit the theme a little better.
Otherwise, great idea of recycling!
Oh yeah, if this card was used (same effect, not random as i suggested), I'd use TIME! Coz it's like shuffling a deck of cards, where each card is a certain time.

Then you'd use the monolith on the Lava Golem... *facepalm* when you get it
Oldtrees i see your point but look on this side
A tower creates 1, ONLY 1 extra quanta - for speed. What good is 8 extra quanta when playing 8 towers? A lot.
BUT!
An upped monolith creates +1|+0 for as long as a creature is alive.

equation where x=amount of towers played and y= number of turns since play:
Towers:
(x+x*y)
Pillars:
(x*y)
Monolith
(x*y) but it's got a bonus attack power, which would be (x*y)

Towers give a measly extra x, which is pretty much darn useless, unless you get an awesome combo of the perfect amount of towers/creatures. I mean, if x=5 and y=4, after 4 turns (since y=4), towers will create 25, whereas monoliths create 20+20 DAMAGE. That is equivalently more than a tower creates quanta. Increase y, and you'll see that monolith gets boosted twice with the y.
Is 20 damage worth more than 5 quanta? That is the question...  :-\

I see the things like this : The upped monolith has a cost because an upped tower cost -1 and this one cost 0.

The upped monolith has no cost. Please read the card carefully. An upped tower cost cannot be "-1". [This one] doesn't make sense

I can't see what is the interest to empty my hand just to have a 6/1 in the second turn (really OP yes after 17 turn it must deal 102 damage
ralouf1

well, the point of playing the monolith is to get quanta.... Having a quanta source plus a bonus might be OP, but if there's a cost, then all is good.

Could we use a table too? This is to benefit low bandwidth and to reduce the errors if something happened to the URL of the picture.
