Electrum hourglass seems sort of expensive for this deck.

I think you should take out the fire buckler; it's too expensive, and add another tower. I've found that 6 quantum towers and 6 supernovas is the optimal amount for a speed rainbow. You might also want to add another perm control card.

Scarred girl I love this deck but sadly it still seems to need some tweaking.  So far I made the following changes.

-1 Discord
-1 Shockwave
+1 Eternity
+1 Plague

Since I've added the eternity I haven't really needed it haha (naturally) but still feel that it opens up a few more strategies (for instance fractaling your opponents devourers faster than him then eternity them back into his hand can be a very effective strategy but is also a slow strategy and might require you to use eternity to avoid decking out.

Love the deck but it does have some issues (pure aether deck is just unbeatable) but if we maybe brought it up to 40 cards we could fix them?  Not sure but will do what I can to help find ways to tweak this.
Hehe, Scarred Girl...anyway.
Eternity would be out of place in this deck. One weapon is enough; we don't want overlap in this kind of deck. A 40 card deck would make it way less consistent, and force it to take longer to set up. The idea is to set up quickly enough to fractal the opponent's lone, strong creature, and be able to play it. With a 40 card deck, you'll probably set up slower...a lot slower.

Game Suggestions and Feedback / Multi-Pipelining
« on: May 26, 2010, 02:26:48 am »
After asking around, I decided this was the best place to post.

There's a configuration tweak you can use for firefox to increase the speed of your browser, called multi-pipelining. It basically sends multiple requests to the server at the same time, but may overload the server. I was just wondering how good is the server, exactly?

I don't think you've played with speed rainbows long enough :P

The optimum number of towers, based on extensive testing, is five. You have too little permanent control, and it looks like you just threw a lot of cheap cards together. You have to pay attention to the cards themselves, I mean seriously. A mirror shield. Really? One damage per creature won't cut it, and if your deck is slower than a firebolt rush deck, then it's not a real PvP rainbow deck.
