Literary Arts / My Poems
« on: March 05, 2012, 02:19:42 am »
These are my first 2 poems, I will add more in the future. I have never studied poetry, so I don't know if anything is seriously flawed with them, andcomments are appreciated.

Btw, how do you add the show button, where you click and a box of text appears?

Twin Blades

Steel against steel.
How unlucky it is to strike
Forever locked in battle.
Steel against steel.
The swords entwine
Slice deeper and deeper
Never relenting.
Steel against steel.
Each realizes
None acts
The fear
Of the sheath
Is greater than the cut.
Steel against steel.

When Death Comes

When Death comes that is when
You truly live.
When Death comes you see,
The joy that was in family.
When Death comes to chip away,
What really there becomes clear.
When Death comes to take your love,
You realize your deed.
When Death comes to bind your crops,
You truly savor the supper.
When Death comes to burn the dwelling,
You feel the coziness of your bed.
When Death comes to smite your enemies,
You do feel a pang of regret.
When Death comes to blanket the skies
You are truly free.

And the candlelight I hold
For fourscore years and more
It did burn brightest tonight.
And when Death comes to me,
I came to Death happily.

And that candlelight I once held
For fourscore years and more.
When Death did come.
And Death did go.
That candlelight burned no more.

"Pessimists are never disappointed."

This phrase means that anyone who expects the least, but yet prepares for it will never face trouble, and never be dissapointed. Whenever you can deal with the worst of anything, the best will all come to you.

Oh well, now that it's been moved to the Humor section, time to follow mwaetht and change the name to Edicius! Hope you like the deck! Average of 15 seconds to die, average of 0 turns to fall!

Enjoy your intentional downfall!

When the community constructs a 45 paged discussion signalling your fall to the addiction of elements, you are addicted.

That hyperlink is in case pic fails.

Now this deck is something I call a fast stall. It's for use in psychological purposes. Apparently, studies from me show that when the numerous following is performed, the victim will usually quit:

1. Shard of Sacrifice

As you can see, it is targeted towards arena "fast grinders". To "fast grind" you have, usually, a rush. A rush is simply beaten with SoSac. And by upgrading Dexterity, people will think it is a stall, and quit on first use.

This deck was highly inspired by the tales of Edicius. Praise the traumatic lord!

Although the idea of the trebuchet improvement is nice, a deck will get a better buff. Namely these are the Voodoo decks, as the opponent will suddenly experiance much more pain, and you would need less damage for the final kill.

Well. The bill was passed into law on the 31'st of December.

Toast for the collapse of all human and civil liberties. We all know countries start to collapse when someone can legally vanish on their way to the groceries, be sent back to their home country, and be "punished", in various ways, for criminal acts that are convicted on you without trial, and they don't even need to tell you anything.

Forge Archive / Re: Cell | Cell
« on: January 05, 2012, 01:36:41 am »
"Daughter Cell" seems to imply that it will create exact copies of itself, and that would be slightly OP if it did.

But the skill name is "Mitosis" which generates the original creature.

So, does it just generate exact copies or original copies?

If you had your connection broken, you will be disallowed FOR A MONTH? I mean, you can back it up anyways you want, but you can only back up the fact that you need to give a punishment, not why the punishment is so ludicrously long.

Buff This Card! / Re: Trident | Poseidon
« on: January 02, 2012, 10:29:08 pm »
I support 1 lower quantum cost for the ability, as even with 2 it requires constant input of Earth, and I find there is minimal synergy between Earth and Water, making it a hard card to use to being with.

I disagree with 99% of everything on that post.

It works in stall, cause in a stall, you try to hold out until the inevitable death falls on the opponent. And if you stack the SoV and use Protect Artifact, it is an inevitable death, cause you can't heal, because no damage has been done, and it is much more powerful than Poison, as it can't be countered.

And when you said, Poison counters stall decks, hear the part, "hold out until inevitable death," yea, they have purifies and healing and miracles.

Buff This Card! / Re: Firefly Queen | Elite Queen

6 quanta it was not competitive or overly powerful

7 quanta it is almost unplayable, because almost every rush will counter it.
