Hi i'm new and i was wondering if you could explain how to "farm" a person.
I mean i get different people everytime in T50, what do method you use?
With the list I linked in my previous post, you start a Top 50 match - check the list, and you can get some idea about what kind of deck was last seen and verified. You can farm two ways - just play a whole lot of Top 50 matches, win and hopefully you'll pull some cards. I usually play it out, and if I know I'm going to lose at the end of the AI's next turn (didn't pull a miracle, don't have a shield, going to deck out, etc), I just hit menu and quit the match - same as a loss anyway, and I'm back to playing another match faster.

The faster method of farming is to check the screen right when you start the Top 50 match - if you played them before, you might know that its a particularly good chance of getting a card; or if the name is posted on the list I mentioned as farmable, you can see when it was last verified and what could come out of it, and play the match; if it's listed as not farmable, just cancel out of the match from there and start another one until you are matched with someone who you can farm from. You get a lot of losses this way, but depending on how many farming decks are currently up, you more than make up the money from doing it - from Elemental Masteries netting you 60, plus another 5 each time the first two dials match, plus eventually selling whatever cards you don't want. Its an easy way to get some electrum for upgrading cards so you can move on to farming False Gods - which can be done in a similar fashion: see who it is, and if you think your deck has a reasonable chance of beating them, go for it; if not, quit out (though I strongly recommend playing FGs several times even if its hopeless, at least until you have a good idea of how the AI plays them and what their/your deck is capable of).

Hope that helps!

With some inspiration from this topic and similar entries in the new Wiki by ScaredGirl and Goose, I put together a post that lists folks seen in the Top 50, whether their decks are farmable (and if they fight back :) ), what mark was showing, and when that particular entry was last checked/updated. Hopefully folks find it useful - cheers!

In-game Troubleshooting / Lost cards in Bazaar
« on: July 06, 2010, 01:19:33 am »
Didn't see a post about it, so I thought I'd put one up . . .

I accidentally sold a few cards in the Bazaar earlier due to the "Your cards have been filtered . . ." pop-up - I clicked (apparently I was just slightly off) the Okay button a few times to remove it, and noticed afterwords that I had sold all of my non-upgraded yellow shards. Not too worried about the loss, and the window does go away after a few seconds  . . . but still annoying. Any possibility of moving/altering the pop-ups - or even better, a way to turn them off entirely?

(Edit): Just saw the 'Send comments...' in the bottom left of the game window  ::) Well, hopefully someone else won't be as impatient as me and lose cards  ;D
