Duo-Decks / Re: Water/Light: Nymph Rush

I was about to try a similar deck only with aether nymphs instead of light ones. If I remember correctly they also have a 9 attack rating and you'll have a board of immortal creatures.

Why not replace the Ray of Lights with Light Towers. Then you could replace some/all of your Quints with Twin Universe

Dark Matter / Re: New God: Dark Matter

Actually he spams Black Holes. In one game he was playing more black holes than where needed to get rid of my quanta and continued to play them even if I have only 4 quanta total.
As long as he is playing them stupidly I can live with this god. What's annoying is the amount of the "ultra rare" nymphs he has in his deck. Your only chance with a rainbow deck is to play an Otyugh before he gets the first Nymph out.

Patch Notes and Development News / Re: Elements 1.17

Immortality is no problem on the creatures that are designed for it from the beginning (i.e. Phase Dragon). I consider them quite balanced. It is a problem with the quintessenced Otyugh/Druid/... . Now if the game would remember which status effects are additional to the innate abilities of the creature a card as the Dispel described here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,2039.0.html) would be possible and provide a solution.
It probably would mean a redesign with the card handling and fix some of the bugs that come from multiple status effects on each card.

Wasn't there a new card, that adds 20 HP to a creature but "freezes" it for a few rounds? Since Spell Breakers ability is passive, you would counter the next 8 spells?

As stated above it would fit in a number of elements. I would like to have the upgraded version to be generic quanta, so any element could use it, similar to flying weapon.

Darkness is for cheating, dirty tricks, stealing, veils, charms.
Entropy is for randomness, chaotic behavior.

So, if it is a consistent 'change of heart' effect, i would say 'darkness'.
But confusion is more like in the portfolio of entropy.
Hmm, make it a darkness card with an entropy activation cost then?

Well, be careful not to say "this deck is bad" only because you got 3-4 bad draws in a row...
I didn't intend to say it's bad. Actually I like it quite a bit. I was merely comparing it to it's 35 cards variant.

Game Suggestions and Feedback / Re: A workaround

What about a card or effect that removes status effects like frozen, immaterial etc. from cards. I tried to explain what I mean at the topic Dispel/Status removal (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,2039.0.html)

I see the benefit of the extra quint and hourglass, but why did you add the sundials? I know that they don't cost you a card, but increasing the deck size without adding towers just increases the chance for an initial bad draws.
How do you handle them? I mean as with all small rainbows almost all cards are needed at some time throughout the game. I had several occasions where I had the hand full of important cards against the FG I've been fighting and the only card I could play for 5-6 turns where hourglasses (I tried the 35card version and had about 1 or 2 towers out and no quanta to play anything). Not only did I have a hard time to decide on what to discard I also couldn't benefit from the hourglass as I had a full hand of cards. Situations like this (maybe related to a bad random generator for the shuffle) made me prefer mark of entropy and 6 supernovas.

Card Ideas and Art / Dispel/Status removal

Sorry, if this has already been posted here.

IMHO with the new card Quintessence it's about time to introduce a status removing card/effect, i.e. something that can remove freeze/immortal/gravity pull/adrenaline/poison marks, etc. from creatures and protect status from an artifact.
This shouldn't remove any innate abilities just additional stuff from cards/effects cast on the creature.
(If it's not overpowered and to much trouble to implement it might also prevent a creatures ability for a number of turns)

This would make a nice card to get through enemy defenses or to defend your own creatures.

Please post you suggestions on a card/an effect like this and what you think is the most likely element for it.

Earth / Re: New Card: Auburn Nymph
« on: January 12, 2010, 10:51:27 am »
I would like for the Nymphs to not have "new" (at least in this combination) abilities. Or if has to be something before unseen then all Nymphs should have new abilities.
