I'm pretty sure you mean Angel not Angle in your first post.
I changed it but can't you write a little bit more about your oppinion to the card idea?

I think that the Dissipation Field only checks the  :entropy quantum store if there is enough quanta to block. And when you have no  :entropy left, the Field triggers the self-destruction like the Shield.

We have to ask zanz if it is intentional or a bug.

About the status marker: I didn't even thought about writting an additional sentence about a marker as I thought that gaining this marker would be obvious.  ;)
So the ability will create a status marker just like Gravity Pull does.

When I think Cultist I think insane. How about "Sacrifist" upgraded, because a lot of cults have Sacrificial intentions :D

Thats my suggestion for upgraded name other than 'Priest'
Is Sacrifist a real word?
And I don't really like it as the Cultist aren't sacrificing (killing themselves) as we know it from other cards in elements. They are devouting their life to follow the path of their cult.

And I see cults as small, religious groups. The Cult can be about hunting people and eating their heart or about worshipping a holy cow and eating vegetarian food.

What I don't understand why nobody said OP to the previous version: A 2|1 creature with a 0! cost Dive. This old version was easier to buff and you could play it in a duo-deck with only using a Watermark.
This version isn't easier to buff as you need 3elements, but it starts with a increased attack.
I did say I thought the ability should cost at least one :air I think the card just got changed again before any real debate started.
The reaction to the last change was fast and the first 2 post said something about op.  ;)
The previous version hadn't such a reaction.

*Cough* Its a girl so...

Priestess..

Not priest...
*Cough*
The name became for the pic. And how can you be sure that the person from the Priest art isn't a man? ;D :P
And the card will gain a different name. That's why I started the poll in the series thread (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,7121.0.html).

has anyone done the math on how this & leaf dragon would work out in the same deck? It seems to me it may be possible to get infinite quanta by shuffling to get :light then photosynthesis to get :life :life

I'd try to run through the odds myself, but I don't know how the random quanta shuffling algorithm works in this game

Basically if at any point you could gain more quanta by doubling :light via photosynthesis then it would cost to reshuffle your quanta with the cultist you could do an infinite quanta loop

If this is the case maybe you could make the ability free, but only usable once per turn?
That is a problem. :o
And it shouldn't need a lot quanta to have to gain atleast 2/1 :light per Alteration.
The problem is that the multiple use is an important point of the ability as one shuffle per turn would make much difference.
But I could increase the ability costs for both version by 1 and add something new to the ability: every activation raises the ability cost by 1 for 1 turn. That would make it impossible to produce infinitive quantum.

Resume: the changes could be:
* increasing the ability cost of both versions by one
* every activation raises the cost by 1 for 1 turn

Rain of Fire targets every oposing creature. That means the scapegoat soaks up all the damage of Rain of Fire?

I think you should change is slightly, so that while a scapegoat is on the table only scapegoats can be selected (with the reticle) as targets. This could also then handle the situation when a Scapegoat gets Cloned with PU. Suggest the ability use a Status marker like a little reticle on the bottom the card. Alternately it could be like Gravity pull and choosing another scapegoat releases the first.
RoF doesn't damage every creature at the same time that's why I think that it should be possible that it doesn't target every card at the same time. When it would be to difficult to code, then I can remove it.

I wrote in point 3) that only 1 Scapegoat can exist at the same time and this rule consider both sides of the creature as one. So it would works like Gravity Pull.
But I should add that the target of the ability 'Scapegoat' won't be changed by the Scapegoat effect.

i think that you either should decrease the cost of the card or that falme whip deals 2 damage.
That is one of the changes that I want to suggest.  :)

@midg3333: The ability was thought as hybrid of growth(devour) and creature damage. I don't want to change the growing part as it is fine as it is.
That's why I would do following changes:
* increase the ability damage from 1 to 2
* increase the stats from 2|1 to 3|2 for the Cultist and to 4|4 for the Priest

Objections or other suggestions what I could change?

how about spirit cultist? or ghost cultist. or mirror cultist
and i agree that this is underpowered...maybe if the cost was only  :aether or you got full attack it'd be better. orrr if you could use it to steal your opponent's abilities (aka theyre copied) that would be interesting. the cost would stay  :aether :aether and the ability cost would be converted into  :aether. and maybe doubled in cost as well?
Spirit or ghost sound more like a :death cultist. Mirror was the first name suggestion in the chat, but I doesn't like it so much as it doesn't really fit the theme.^^'

The reason why I don't want to copy the abilities is that it would a PU on a stick and that isn't what I want to create.

About the attack, it seems like i'm too carefull about the balance.  ???
The card changes:
* name to Shifting Cultist
* it copy the full attack
* the ability costs reduced to 1 :aether
* the stats of the Cultist gain +1|+1, Priest: +2|+1

I agree that this is underpowered...for 6 :aether you can have that same creature and for 8 :aether you can have a hand full of that creature. Why would I use this?
You can use it more then 6 times.

Starcraft hallucination ftw :P
SC-hallucinations can't do any damage. ;)

edit: I changed the card.

I added to polls:
The first one is about the cost of the Cultist as the answer of many ideas was that the cost are to high.
The second poll is about the alternative Name for the Priest.

But if you included this card basing the balancing on :water and :air not having any buff cards then it neither element could ever have any buff cards. It would be very limiting for future card design. Also I'd be wary of rainbows buffing this card.

In terms of abilities flying fish does have an ability, dive.

Your have a good point on the quanta cost analysis though.
