Fallen Druid is the best card in the game. How could anyone get enough of mutants?

Politics / Re: Artifical pregnancy--Is abortion still OK?
« on: August 01, 2010, 03:00:24 pm »
Interesting problem. While I have nothing against abortion, I do believe it should not be taken so lightly. If you are having a child you cannot support or if there is no father, I say abortion is the humane way to go. The world population keeps growing, so why add one extra person that is going to be miserable?

Now a child in an incubator was placed. This action was planned, so then someone wanted the child. There should be no reason for an abortion, unless if something happened. The parents to be can die or a power blackout could mutilate the child.
This is actually a remarkably good point. For an artificial pregnancy there should be very little reason to get an abortion since it was obviously planned.
It is a good point. The question it brings up is: Why did you put the child in a artificial womb? But this doesn't really answer this topics question, which is: Does a fetus in an artificial womb have the same (lack of) rights as a fetus growing in a woman's womb?

Let's just change the situation hypothetically as it is:
Suppose that somehow, my wife and I accidentally dropped our accidentally test tube-fertilized egg into an artificial womb, and did not find out until the egg had grown into a fetus (if I had a nickel for every time that happened to me..).
This situation might be compared with me accidentally impregnating her. Would it make any difference for our choice whether or not to abort the child?

I agree with BluePriest.

Religion / Re: evolution vs the bible
« on: August 01, 2010, 01:25:44 pm »
the thread "Evolution and Intelligent Design" has gotten a little old, so this is the new one.

please dont be a newbie and say things like "well you just dont have any faith!" or "lol you are stupid, how can you idiots believe in dat shiz hahaha idiot lolollolol!" because that just annoys people.

personally i am an athiest and am really annoyed that christians are so hard-headed, but thats just me :P.
This topic is meant to replace the topic "Evolution and Intelligent Disign". Intelligent design however, is not the same as the bible. So what is the plan? Do you want to know what people think about evolution and bible, or evolution and intelligent design? Also the title "evolution vs the bible" suggests they are opposing each other, many people believe that evolution does not exclude Christianity.

You're not giving the right example of newbieless behavior in the first post. By saying: "..I am an athiest and am really annoyed that christians are so hardheaded.." Do you mean all Christians? And are they hard-headed about everything? And how does the hardheadedness of Christians in general relate to the discussion about evolution and the bible?

You're claim to be an atheist. What has your atheism got to do with the discussion about the bible and evolution? Does it automatically mean that you believe in evolution?

Hey everyone,

I made this in the trainer, as you will see it's a very cheap deck. The only rare card you need is arsenic, you might want to add a second one for safety. I just tested it against lvl 3 and won 9/10. I lost one because the opponent used an emerald shield which made me unable to use the Unstable Gas.

Deck import code : [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5og 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5on 8po

The strategy is as easy as it gets:
- Play arsenic as soon as possible (unless your opponent is a real thief!)
- Play poison and unstable gas when possible
- Use the shield and shockwave to prevent some damage
- Watch him suffer while laughing sadistically!

Deck Compilations / Re: 'The Cigarette' (Life/Death)
« on: July 27, 2010, 02:15:09 pm »
Just kinda threw it together in trainer, but just wondering if you had nymphs, would this work?
BTW, the blank cards are scorpions, just a thought.
Code: [Select]
710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 711 711 718 718 71a 71a 71c 71c 71k 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ad 7ad 7ak 7ak 7ak 7ak 7an 7an 7ao 7ao 7ao 7ao 7b0
Well, the problem with Nymphs is that it takes a few turns before you can play them. The idea of my deck was to spam the opponent with malignant cells so he can't play anything else, nymphs would slow down the process. One aflatoxin and one or two adrenaline cards will do the trick much faster. I always like putting in some nymphs, but this time I think it will make the deck even worse! :)

I'll try the deck you made as soon as I have some more time! Thanks!

Deck Compilations / Re: 'The Cigarette' (Life/Death)
« on: July 25, 2010, 03:05:43 pm »
A decent deck concept certainly. I recommend the following changes:

-2 Arsenic, -2  :death tower, -2 Jade Dragon, -1  :life tower, -2 Deadly Poison [-9]
+3 Jade Staff, +2 Flying Weapon, +1 Ivory Dragon [+6]
Change mark to  :death (?)

This way, the spare adrenalines can be cast on the staves, and the regen will also allow you more time to get your setup in place. Pity you can't do much with the spare aflatoxins though as feral bond is too slow to be counted on for healing. Cutting it down to 35 cards should give you a little more reliability--even if it's a just for laughs deck, it'd be nice to win a little more to see the effect  ;)
Great! I gave it a try, it certainly improved my chances of winning! The games often take a long time, because you have absolutely no permanent control. Haha, I really like this concept.
I updated the first post, thanks a lot!

Deck Compilations / 'The Cigarette' (Life/Death)
« on: July 25, 2010, 02:05:52 am »
Hey everyone,

I found this deck very amusing. You'll lose almost every game, but it's a laugh when it works. I call it 'The Cigarette'.

Deck import code : [Select]
5c4 5c4 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 711 711 718 718 71a 71a 71c 71c 71c 71c 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ad 7ad 7ak 7ak 8pn

The idea is to use aflatoxin on the first creature your opponent plays, when it turns into a malignant cell, you use adrenaline on it so it will multiply faster. Play the shields to make sure the cells don't harm you. The deadly poison, arsenics and dragons are suggestions for taking out the opponent.

I hope you like it! Feel free to suggest improvements.

Update: This is the deck with Unionruler's suggestions. I got a much better win rate with this one!
After setting up the malignant cells with adrenaline on the side of the opponent, use the rest of the adrenaline on your animated jade staffs. The rest of the aflatoxin can be used to kill creatures.

Religion / Re: Disprove the bible to me
« on: June 25, 2010, 11:26:31 am »
Perhaps we could look at the historical facts in the Bible and see if they are true. The hard problem is: Is this book what it says it is? Is this God speaking?

It's really hard to prove if the bible is true. But not just because it's been so long ago, also because many events in the Bible require God's existence for them to be true. Can we prove that Moses lead the people of Israel out of Egypt? Difficult, but perhaps we can. Can we prove that it was God who told Moses what to do and how to do it? Guess not.

So even if we could prove that there has been a flood, that king David killed Goliath with a stone and Jesus died on a cross, would it prove that the Bible is true? And on the other hand, if we found out that (for example) there was no flood and that Goliath was actually killed by a 23 year old rhino who called himself "Steve", would that mean the Bible is nothing but a big book of fairytales?

I'm not 100% sure that it's Christian music. But 'MewithoutYou' is an awesome band, with a lot of Christian lyrics.
It's unlike anything I ever heard. I wonder what you guys think about it!
