I think, the deck is only Quad (4 tyoes of quanta) ... so a combination of mark + pendulums instead of rainbow Pillars would speed things up a little with good balance :-)

Also the good ols Novas help speeding up decks 1 or 2 rounds often ...

In the end an intersting deck but i would use the death scorpions (they do 2 poisen stacks instead of 1 :-) ) instead of the Time scorpions ... this would even make it TRIO colored wich ist faster too :-)

This is actually a trio by forum rules. Nova is an entropy card. I would replace also some of them with more life pendulums.

That said this looks like a pretty nice deck :)
I really would not replace the novas ... they make you play the 1 adrenalin you will play out, 1 round earlyer (you only need 5 or 6 rounds against 100 HP without upgrades ... so pendulums do not tick mopre than 2 to 3 times) ... no need to mass up more green later ... you can even replace the pendulums by normal fire pillars ... novas and immolation will provide the 4 green soon enough ...

BTW average playtime ... <100s 6 - 10 rounds against lvl 3 AI @ 90% winchance

no life pendulums version ...

works as well :-) But with a lil bit more draw luck dependency

I have the feeling that this version works best at the moment .. it's a bit situational when to Immo what but the additional Quanta from pillars help a lot with pumping the spirits ... only thing that coun be change here are 1 or 2 adrenalin (but I think you need 4 to draw them) and maybe to re-change the pillars to life pendulums .. i will re-check when I have upped this deck :-)

No so big difference but a lil more winnings

(Adrenalin should be upped too ... plus maybe the tweak with 2 adrenalin and 2 blessings or a blessing and a quintessens etc ... )

hmmm .. depens ...

2 fire quanta (2 Novas or 1 Nova one upped Pillar etc.)
play Spirit
Immo Spirit
play Phoenix
immo phoenix
play another phoenix
2. round revive Phoenix -> 2 Phoenix + spirits that grow

another situation can be a shield on enemy side + you have farenheit out -> immo phoenix (that does no dmg. anyways) for more Fahrenheit dmg.

and last but not least, basiliskblood on phoenix -> 6 rounds delay -Y Immo revive ... tadaa :-)


I often immo phoenix for more phoenix or counter creture control ... also the 7 quanta from unupped Immo can be up to 14 dmg. on spirits as 1 quanta is 2 dmg. for Spirits :-)

why use spirits as immo fodders?
what about photons?
I decided to use Spirits as you normally immolate only 1 Photon, than you immolate of course Phoenix if possible as they regrow ... so you can play out the Spirits and pump them for even more dmg. output :-)

If the deck works, then keep using it. Otherwise, at first glance I feel the quantum generated by the Novas to be a problem. You are only using the :life quanta generated by Nova at the moment - I suggest adding some off-element cards like Arsenic or Lightning to make better use of the comprehensive quantum spectrum.
Hmm ... good idea ... it would be possible to use multiple pushing cards ... adrenali, blessing, momentum, quintessence and lets say Plague instead of 4 adrenaline ... so I would be able to replace life pendulums with Quantum Tower and give the red rush a Rainbow characteristic ...

There actually is a need to be technical with the systematic categorization of deck types. If there was no codified system, then there would be no way for people to identify where a deck would belong on the forum, or if a specific deck would be legal in a specific playing format. It's a trio deck.
OK you win, but only for the playing format thingi :-) What do you think of the general Idea ? Any further hints for me ?

Nobody said anything about replacing the novas :)

ddevans was just mentioning that you called your deck a DUO deck, but Nova is technically an entropy card, and thus makes this deck technically a TRIO in the forums classification. It makes no real difference.

I meant the bold part of his post :-) The idea with the adrenalin came when i realized that the novas, I use to speed things up a little,
 and the Immolations produce a lot of rainbow quanta ... and adrenaline is one of the most aggressive buffs for creatures as I found out ..


In fact you can replace adrenalin also with blessings, quintessence, momentum, plague ...  etc. :-) any low cost agressive non fire card.

The Spirits will only be Immolated to start the combo ... play spirit 2 quanta, Immolate = 7 quanta +1 of each , play phoenix :-)

and adrenalin is also possible on Spirit if you like :-) But 15 dmg. phoenix in round one with a unupped deck isn't that bad i think ... also you don't have to immolate the phoenix you already adrenalined as adrenalining will be a late game option in general :-)

Strategy is quite simpel ...

1. play Adrenalin on Phoenix
2. Immolate Phoenix for Fire and Life Quanta to play more phoenix
3. Immolate Spirit for Phoenix
4. Grow Spirit if all is said and done ...

hints :

1. Phoenix + Adrenalin = 15 dmg. (this is possible in round 1 even unupped)
2. do not grow Spirit bigger than 8 (max 10) if you play adrenalin on Spirit
3. 2/2 Spirit + Adrenalin = 8 dmg.

the usage of adrenaline:

What to upgrade first ?

sry bout the posting style, didn't know that :-)

concerning the lone Dragon ... ist the game breaker ... and the shadows can provide extra poisen stacks in lategame for exceeding Darkness quata if no dragon comes :-)

The idea with the Mark is right ... i'll think about that ...

Also i'm playing with the idea of pumping the dolls ... but this would make it Quad Quanta and in fact unplayable ... any ideas ?

btw, there is an other nifty combo in the deck ;-)

1. play doll
2. use grav pull on it
3. liquid shadow enemy creature ... removel + dmg. shield + poisen + throwing poisened dolls ... :P


Hmmm ...

Replacing dolls with gargs, removing poisen&death, add earth pumping (Basilisk Blood + garg ability) and throwing the gargs + Liquid shadow for a lil self heal and poisen throw ...  >:D >:D >:D
