Issue Archive / Graveyard didn't spawn skeletons [unconfirmed]
« on: September 06, 2010, 07:22:58 pm »
To Know about my game:
I was playing against a Half-Blood. I had a slow had, so, when one of my otyughs turned into a maligned cell I couldn't save him (or eat him). My creature field was filled with cells in no time.

The Bug:
Both me and the AI had a graveyard (he had an UP-ed one), if one of my otyughs ate something on his field while my field was 100% full the AI didn't get any skeletons. If I ate something on my field (or reversed them back to my hand) and so freeing up a space on my field, the AI and I got a skeleton as well.

I really love the new art on this card. Now finally each of the 13 pillars/towers has a new and good looking art. :)
Great job!

Off-Topic Discussions / I give up - farewell elements. It was fun!
« on: August 12, 2010, 01:29:23 am »
I used to play elements a few months ago (maybe a year), and I liked it. I am familiar with CCG's I used to play some MtG and other card games, and elements was fun, easy to understand and I managed to beat FG's easily (especially in the trainer :) ).

I started to play again a few weeks ago, and I decided I'd try it without the trainer. Sure thing Ai1-2-3 are easy, top50 are sometimes challenging or just plain unbeatable for me.

Right now Half Bloods are easy to beat (I only loose if I have a bad starting hand, or if I screw something up), and FG's are incredibly difficult.

Grinding for several weeks, till I finally manage to upgrade all my cards is boring, and fighting FG's is to hard.
Nothing in between, so I'll give up.

Farewell elements, it was fun!

seems like a solid deck
Indeed, a very nice deck. :)

But honestly, you can farm Ai4 with a common rush deck too, it probably won't have such a great win/loss ratio as this, but a rush deck is fast, which makes a great win/time ratio.

Deck Help / Re: About my aether/darkness deck
« on: August 11, 2010, 09:21:46 am »
I guess you don't need vampire dagger and lobotomizer in the same deck.

If this is an AI3 grind deck you should focus on offence, and I'd go with a mono-aether approach (15pillars, 6immortals, 6 shields, 3 dragons), if this is for Ai4 or Ai5, I'd consider adding a little more darkness, like devourers and minor vampires.

The idea of a "permanent" creature is a good one, but the stats are way to OP.
A burrowed Antlion is a 3  :earth creature with 2/4 stats (and you need to wait 1 turn).

This enchanted with a PA is a 6/7 creature for 4 :earth in one turn, for 2 cards.

This is still OP.

I'd suggest to reduce Attack and HP, and make it immune to abilities and spells that work on creatures, like lobotomise, freeze, congeal, lightning, fire blast etc. But is still effected by shields. (I'm not sure if this is possible with the current game code).

Great idea. I was surprised that the black nymph had another ability, instead of this.

Level 4 - Reliquary / Re: Acceleration | Overboost
« on: August 11, 2010, 03:22:20 am »
I remembered why I didn't make it +2/-2, and not for the reason I stated above.

Frankly, it would be WAY MORE overpowered than +2/-1 (wierd, huh?)

I mean, it would like shut down every fire deck in the game is how OP it would be.

Target creature doesn't need to be your target creature.

Due to popular demand, I changed Overboost to Overdrive.
Thats a valid point.
