Aha, znaci iz ovih si krajeva i 'Krava' stvarno je krava, a ne neka slucajnost ka 'vrt'.  :)

About the shoulders and thickness of arms, I wanted to give impression of larger robes, and I guess I didnt pin that down just right  :)) I agree that her torso is a bit... strong, but I actually blame tiny hips. If I hide everything under her boobs, shoulder to head ratio seems okay to me.
And that right hand was a serious pain. The hand naturally should go a bit towards the viewer.

Well, my first sketch was a disaster; it was the first one after years. So I gave it another shot now. This time fully dressed  :))

Taking a centered photo of it, with a good light, is another pain. This is as good as it gets I'm afraid.

About the sketch: I was contemplating adding wings, to make an "angel of death" or something; an image that would maybe be usable in Elements too, after some work on it. I decided not to do that now; its getting late and I'm off to a vacation, so this is the last sketch in art class from me in this year.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year guys. :)

Oh, and just because I already wasted some time on it, might as well post it:

Not finished, cloth lines just refused to look like I wanted them to look, so meh. Maybe when I get more time. It looks way to plastic atm.

I've been planning to do a god by god guide with some extra explanations, but that'll have to wait till after the new year, as I'm off to my well deserved vacation tomorrow. :)

I know it is stupid, but is other allowed?
Yes, it does not count as an element and is allowed.

Edit: with the exception of Shards of Gratitude which are explicitly banned.
You might want to rephrase the rules in OP then, as that was a good question. "Only x,y,z elements allowed" implies that everything else is not allowed.

Just count your damage and make a final blow with a weapon. That gives times for SoGs to heal, and is how most EMs are done anyway.

This whole "Bond cant EM anymore" discussion is blown completely out of proportions. Firstly, rarely anyone really uses Bond to EM. 1 Bond heals 1 per creature, and unless you spam those, you'll likely be in situations where creature damage will kill the opponent before it heals you anyway. SoGs are cheaper and better for actual survival until you setup your board.
If you're really aiming to EM all the time, SoGs + simple Heal can do the trick if you're unable to hit with weapon.
If even that cant settle your needs for EMs, Miracle + Luci/Heal will ALWAYS work, which is billion times more reliable than Bonds.

About "waaahhhh my Bond is not healing me when my creature is just about to die from poison": this is barely noticeable nerf. Difference happens only on that single turn, for that single point of healing, and only against opponents that actually use infections or fireshield, which is simply - really really REALLY RARE.

Actually, the biggest nerf with Bonds is when you're against pulled Doll, as in that situation Bond is a difference between life and death, and, not surprisingly at all, no one is whining about that.
Similar situation is when your antimattered vamp is about to kill you.

Lastly, against sum of all generic opponents, Bonds received a buff.

Hah, I thought my Paintshop skillz are a tad bit better. Painting with a mouse is a source of all kind of frustration, so scythe is unfinished (seriously, how do you make largish precise lines with a mouse?).
Other than that, I'm happy with digital version of my hooded girl :)

Hi! I'm kinda late to the party  ;D
Today on chat, vrt kinda gave me the first inspiration to draw after... well years. And I loved to draw while I was a kid, so I gave it a shot here. I'm also considering getting a pad, as everything is easier on computer, and I've been working hard all year, I deserve a stupid gift for mysef  :P

Anyway, the only camera that had batteries sucks, and since visibility was meh, so I increased contrast on Photoshop so the lines are more visible.

Teh sketch:

I dont know if humans are a no-no here, hopefully not. I prefer humans, or at least humanoids to weird creatures.

Anyway, to the sketch. I realize she looks kinda... tall. The body seems longish. Now that I think of it, I could have reduced the height of the image in PS, so the issue wouldnt be as noticeable. The thing that irks me the most is the length between belly and umm... how do you say that in proper way... yeah. But I saw that only AFTER I was done with legs and scythe, so I wasnt sure how to fix it without erasing bottom half.
Also, I realized I cant draw hands haha. Or foot for that matter, so I avoided that. She looks naked as I wasnt sure yet what kind of dress/armor to put on her. Figured it doesnt matter since its still a sketch. At this point I'm more interested in drawing itself, than in making some uber creature that will find its way to the elements card.

Comments, ideas?

So... Christmass - New Year. I dont know about other peoples habits during vacations, but I know I'll be somewhere in the mountains without any communication signal pouring high amounts of alcohol in my body with my friends and family. Which is kinda more important than a flash game.

Will we have a break here?

Nerf This Card! / Re: Procrastination | Turtle Shield
« on: December 21, 2010, 05:17:56 pm »
Blocking damage now is always better than blocking damage later, which is why Dusk/Fog are of greater value than Turtle. If you have Turtle, you'll mostly lose fights on the turn creatures are free to attack, meaning you'll never get to play turn after when they will be delayed - which is why Turtle doesnt actually stop 50%.
Fog/Dusk will give you a chance to react to sudden creature spam / one turn kill attempts; Turtle will do nothing. No one cares what happens after 100 turns in play, when you're dead by turn 7-8.

Finally, I really REALLY rarely actually see Turtle shield in play. I have no idea why would someone want to nerf it.

Yup, protected Pulvy is really a pain in the ass, and his creatures are not easy to CC down.
Funny as is, its the Armagios that seal the deal here. Without healing from SoGs, those few turns of Armagio protection were lethal.
In final game, I actually removed most CC, SoGs and birds, and went to fast quanta generation with Bolts and Fahren. Turn after last one I counted EXACT damage I need to do with my 3 bolts AND SPARK in hand. Bolts left him at 3 HP, and I was laughing here while moving mouse to click Spark. Yeah I forgot his Armagio was pulled, as I was playing creatureless, and yeah, I lost  :)) :))

Anyway, those were some fun games. Grats paper. :)

Round 8 / Re: -life master- killsdazombies 2- nyma 1 entropy
« on: December 20, 2010, 05:22:04 pm »
Giving your opponent option to actually put up a fight is in my opinion a good sportmanship, even though its his mistake and even though it might bite me in the ass, I'll always allow the opponent to actually fight, as opposed to play with wrong mark, or in this case, not play at all.

I dont care who wins this, but I really wouldnt like this to be example to players to claim wins after a silly mistake. Yes mistakes are mistakes, but we're here to have fun, not to take a million dollar prize. I'd rather lose in a fight than win over technicality.
