I know I did some crying about the death shard and the other shards that may come but I thought about it and it could.... dare I even say it..... save the game?
Mono's of every element should be more playable and give rainbows a run for their money.
Also if the turns get reduced I will admit that the death shard is balanced. 2 turns is not enough to chain it forever, 3 it COULD but still not a sure thing but even with chaining you need another win condition because it drains all but death quanta. So it will only be uber good in mono death unless you play a few other certain combos with it. It is still a powerful card but when you look past ability, and go to practicality it really is not OP.

Also these shards will be rare and in case you did notice rare has been given meaning again thanks to arena. ( did I not say Zanz would make more rares after top 500/arena was put into effect? It was only logical. ) People will want these shards, and thus they will play the game ( mostly top 500/arena ) and when they get a shard it will be a very happy day. This could give life to this game again. ( It seemed to me that interest in the game was going down. )

i personally think it will be nerfed by only 2 turns.

5 turns is quite stupid.

but in a good way.this will make holy flash as awesome as hell.
I agree 2 turns is about right. It is not just stopping attacks for 2 turns but healing from those attacks. That is almost a 4 turn swing in damage. ( I say almost because they will have more damage as the game goes on. )
Also funny thought but wont this nerf the death and darkness elements if people are running around with holy flashes now?

I wish more people would be like me and self limit themselves. I always cut down on uber cards like SoG's. If I do use them I don't max them. Then I take 1-2 good cards out of the deck. There are some plat and Gold decks so powerful that unless you get lucky you can not win.
Even if you do what I do and weaken your deck by getting rid of some power cards you can still do well. I am 8-0 right now and in top 100 after not even 24 hours. So you can still do well.

My GotP deck is 8-0 so even though I got a fire bolt today I will leave my current deck up. I am shocked that it is 8-0. I made the deck solid but I did not give it shards or upped cards at all. I also left out 1-2 good cards from it.

Will poison damage them still?
From what I hear holy flash and healing will cause damage, right?
If you stall and then use this card and keep a few silence in hand to play right after you cast it then holy flash will not work. However an antimatter creature that was anti-mattered before that had first attack would finish it.
I just woke up so if I dont understand something about this card then tell me.

Double drawing I believe is the most powerful skill. It's like having an electrum hourglass from the start of the battle. ( but you don't have to pay time quanta ) With the double deck size and the limit of 35 cards in an arena deck you add another possible win condition to your deck as well. Let's not forget that if you balance the deck right you can set it up so that if they don't finish you in a few turns then mid to late game the double draws make it almost impossible to win against an arena deck. Card advantage is the name of the game.

Keep the age of decks in mind. Over 5 days one deck can be played like 30 times while a new deck with your idea would then have to be played 30 times ( or until knocked out ) while the older deck would just sit there and get like zero plays for a whole day. So try to make it so that it takes days into account please. ( if I understand your idea correctly. )
I kinda want a PRD for the arena system.

PRD is pseudo-random distribution.

Basically, it evens out how many times each of our deck is played, but it's still semi-random

example: your current arena deck has been played 10 times today, my current arena was only played once today, which means my arena deck will come up more often than yours. if mine has 10 plays, and yours has only 1, yours pop up more. whichever deck has the least plays will have more chance of being played than those already played a lot (over a time period, not total)
