I would not vote for
- Trading system
People, who suggest that will hopefully know how many rares TOP gamers could have.
And I don´t want cheating.
you could easily fix that by allowing rares only be traded against rares and nymphs only against nymphs. only problem i see with the current voting system is, that everyone will have the same thought process like you. new cards are allways nice. so everyone will vote for new cards, while the people will have different opinions about the rest. so with multiple votes, new cards will allways come out first.

on the plus side, zanz seems to have noticed that and seems to concentrate on improving the other aspects of the game, while throwing in one or two cards with every update.

(by the way, whtas up with the new card? it didnt show up in the trainer yet, although it seems pretty much finished. either zanz didnt have enough time to implement yet, its that stupid browser thing, that kept people from seeing the new shard and gargoyle in the game last time, or he is planning something big. im hoping for the last one.)

yeah, the adrenaline thingy may be a little bit overpowered. otherwise, the balance is perfectly fine. staff allways heals and does less damage. daggers heal can be reduced or even completely negated by shields.

interesting so its just another fusion process? im going to read more about the topic right now. please dont take my first comment personal. i know, that its not supposed to be as accurate as an equation, i think i just wanted someone to jump in to discuss priciples of particle physics. and so far, i enjoyed the conversation ;)

(just fyi, i used  :light for energy in general,  :gravity for mass and  :aether for charges - just put the neutrino to  :aether, because it barely has a mass at all and no charges :) )

edit.: found it, well haven't i tricked you into teaching me something, sir. ;)

ok, sadly my english is not good enough, to understand, what you just wrote (tried to look up the definition of protonic freeform). but i think we may be talking about different subjects.

i understood the name "proton fusion" in a sense of actual nuclear fusion (or p-p fusion, the process that keeps our sun burning). it is a 4-step cycle, that produces essentially positrons and neutrinos (wich could be concidered as  :aether), helium and energy ( :gravity and lots of :light) from hydrogen.

but it seems, like you are talking about bindings between electrons and protons (or hydrogen ions).

(what i am quoting there is actually my high temperature plasma physics scrip :) )

Do the effects of dying include a creature on you field actually dying? One might argue that the effect of being killed is dying.
schödinger's cat is an imaginary experiment, proposed by erwin schrödinger, to explain the the strange behavior of quantum particles, by applying their laws to macroskopic objects (or in this case - a cat).

the short version: imagine a cat an i box. you dont know if its dead or alive. if it would behave like, for example an electron or photon, it is concidered both - dead and alive - at the same time, until you open the box (observe the cat). the act of observing causes the cat to take on one of the two states.

i like the card, but i dont think the name is appropriate. proton fusion would convert lighter elements into heavyer elements, by producing massive amounts of energy.

so logically, the effect would be something like, convert all your  :light into  :gravity and  :light :light :light :light :light :light :light :light :light :light
(actually not even that would be true, since part of your original mass is converted into energy so you would actually even loose some :gravity)

energy loss would occur, if you would fuse heavyer elements with a high binding energy (like iron - the most stable atom in the universe) into even heavyer elements with lower binding energys.
i know, this is a fantasy card game, but just wanted to point it out, since a change of name for a little bit physical accuracy shouldnt be a big deal.

if the weapon doesnt do damage by itself, maybe you should lower the ability cost to 1 or 2 quanta. dont forget, that it still takes the appropriate amount of quanta, to play the spell or creature card.

is there any specific reason, why the weapon is immaterial? (still voted for it, though. i like the idea.)

you missed one. sundial. an extra light quanta to pay, just for the price of 1500 electum? no thanks. (the upgraded card should just be changed to 1 random quanta to play and 1 light quanta to draw the extra card)

nice idea. but how about they are cards, that already exist, but just look different (different name and different artwork).

for example at christmas, there could be  :water cards like the snowball, thats just an ice bolt. fate egg could be a gift and so on. at halloween, skellettons could be angry pumkins and the graveyard a pumkin farm. on st pattys day, there are only rare life cards of course^^

you can only win these cards during hollydays, they show as relics in the slot machine and they are rare. but since tey have no new mechanics, people that cant play on hollydays arent at a disadvantage.

i wouldnt like these holliday cards to be useless, because nobody would ever use them in a serious match. you would just have them lying around, rotting in your reserve.

He has some good points about SoR though. It's only useful in very few decks that use creatures with an ability cost of 3+. In other decks a tower would be better.
still not convinced. if you add a single aether tower instead, it probably wont suffice, to supply you with enough quanta. also it could be destroyed pretty easily. so you would at least need another card, to protect it. the ability cost of the purple nymph, for example is 4  :entropy .

problem with the previous version was, that it was way overpowered. especially, if used with flying weapons.

To me, a small and useless update. The 2 new cards are not showing, and in fact are not worthy to make me clean the cache. In fact, I now believe that a shard dont need to be powerfull anymore, looks like anything can be a shard. Free marks is good, but is something we wouldnt really need. The poison thing just nerfs some very used cards, and makes Scorpio harder. Wow, great. Nothing that is really useful here.

Hope the code system was worthy zanz time, at least.
i disagree. the shard can reduce a deck by a whole element, so it can indeed be pretty powerful, if used right. for example, you dont need other quanta in a mono deck with growing creatures anymore. you dont need aether quanta in a time deck, to make your creatures immortal, if you've got a second shard, you dont need no gravity quanta to devour enemy creatures with scarabs...

but afar from that, some creatures have really expensive ability costs (nymphs, especially the queen). and if you take a look at the card development section, it may verry well be possible, that there will be more cards introduced, with a much higher ability cost than 3 quanta.

i think it was an amazing conveniency update, that balanced the overused otys a little bit, introduced much needed changes and even two new cards.
