Time / Re: Anubis/ Elite Anubis
« on: November 13, 2010, 07:31:13 pm »
I don't like this card - actually no - I don't like that this and turquoise nymph are so similar.
This card has been out for a very, very long time.  Aether Nymph and Quint are much more new.

Back in the "day," Anubis was valued for being the only creature that offers Immortality, which was needed in anti-FG decks.
I have an idea.
How about a new but similar ability for Anubis?
3 :aether Time Shield
Gives all of your creatures immortality for 1 turn.
i think that would end up broken. one only needs 3  :aether /turn to make all your creatures "permanently" immortal similar to the eternity loop.

i'm game:

IGN: ISlayCasuals
elements chat: ISlayCasuals

am i correct in assuming: 6 upgraded card limit is per DECK, not total.
ie: 12 decks for each life, one can use 6 upgraded cards for each of those decks.

Rainbow Decks / Re: Mindgate False God Deck
« on: November 06, 2010, 08:24:57 pm »
i'm no expert, but here is what i think:

1) you need to include all wins and losses in your statistics whether they be legit losses or bad hands. you wouldnt discount a win if you had a beast opening hand would you?

2) your deck is way too huge. 60 cards is excessive especially when the theme of your deck is mindgate and you only have 4 of them. in addition, you have a protected eternity to bounce creature cards to prevent decking out (which you'll have to mindgate for first, but shouldnt be too much of a problem)

a good tower/deck ratio is 1/3. meaning right off the bat, you can drop 4 quantum towers. i would suggest trying to cut your deck down to 50 cards first, then 40.

Deck Help / Re: unupped rainbow
« on: November 06, 2010, 08:01:59 pm »
well, i tried this deck again (after modifying it first) in the western tourney. taking the given advice into account and tinkering around with it myself i ended up with:
Code: [Select]
4vh 4vh 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 52j 55u 55u 590 590 590 5bu 5c1 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fa 5fc 5fc 5i5 5l9 5l9 5lf 5lf 5oo 61q 61q
i did manage to get to quarter finals before being eliminated 2-0.

works much better than last night, but it's still very prone to bad hands. once it gets into play properly, however, it works like magic.

to answer destroyer's question, immolate was used on anything targettable to get phoenix out and then used on phoenix. now, immolate will be used on frog/photons/chrysaora, anything past it's useful life, and phoenix once it's out.

wings is expensive to play and even more so to combo with web in this deck due to limited air quanta, but it did win me 1 match and stalled for 3 turns until my opponent drew a deflag. not quite sure how much i'm liking it, but i do realize it's potential.

Round ~ 1

Napalm ~ 2
ISlayCasuals ~ 1

You're just too casual for these things atm :)) Best of luck to you next time and GREAT games.

EDIT: Did I mistakenly put down a 1? I don't actually remember losing this entire tournament, which would be Epic considering that Antagon and I now have an equal 4 Tournament wins.
just wanted to put in a correction here, napalm did win 2-0 vs me. so yes, flawless victory for napalm. congrats once again.

hello all. first post, woo.
so i made this deck for this tourney. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,15010.0.html)

it was inspired by Napalm Grenade's Born of Flame (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,12170.0.html): , but i tried making it more rainbow like Antagon's PvP Graboid Rainbow (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,7528.0.html)

deck failed vs napalm in the 1st round (what are the chances...)

any tips/advice how i can improve this?
