That is not exactly my point. Your deck seems pretty good, it seems to me that oracle sections doesn't have that much back up on deck submissions.

Maybe I had twice very very bed luck with the pile, I don't know.
It is hard to be sure how good a deck is against a flase god because we can't really test him. (we can't choose our FG opponent)

You just seems pretty much confident in your deck like chaos lord had no chance at all. I would give you some feedback like I could have gave on another deck if I tried it.

The idea is to give % match-up of your deck against him, maybe two other people that tried it won their games, if you did too, it's a 3/2 for the moment for instance.

The draw list may help us to improve it, those who won had card #1, card #2 and card #3, thos who lost didn't, maybe we should focus the deck on these cards since they seem strong against this FG.

Don't give up, go on.

Another chaos lord oracle, another defeat with Mormegil's.
Not to blame you, I wouldn't take my previous defeat as a final statement on your deck.

My draws : (random order)

4 pillars
3 sundials (destroyed one)
3 mind flayer
miracle
steal
rage pot
nova
animate weapon
butterfly effect

two last draws :

eagle's eye
otyugh

He killed me with a first turn pumped  6/7 photon, cannot do anything.

You should have quinted the mind flayer to lobotomize druids and creatures with momentum
Not really.

I couldn't play a quinted MF earlier enough to do that.
Removing the momentum from the 11/8 was totally useless because I had no shield anyway.

This worked awesomely. He didn't even have a chance.

Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vo 55p 592 5fb 5fb 5ic 5if 5if 5if 5li 5oi 5oi 5ol 5ro 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5up 621 621 6qq 6qq 6qq 74b
This didn't worked at all for me.

He barely putted a single pumped momentum'd 11/8 spider and crunch my pv's with.
Cannot do anything about.

Cards I had were pretty much : 8 pillar, nova, 2 Mind flayer, flying weapon, eagle's eye, 4 sundial, Quint, Otyugh, rage potion.
Can't play the otyugh beacause I never had 5 gravity.
Mind flayer and rage potion were no help.
Animated eagle's eye have been mutated.
2 of the 4 sundials have been destroyed.

This deck has NO solution against big monsters if you don't have gravity. The solutions are based on two combos that are hard to assemble since the deck can't reliably count on extra draws.

Like your global idea.

For the flooded thing wording, maybe two lines :

"~ is also considered as a water creature."
"~ gains +0/+X in flooded areas."

General Discussion / Re: Second Upgrade

Well, I don't think that the problem is really to find name, there's a big community and i'm sure it would participate and find something.

All B-upgrades don't have to be implemented at the same time and some polls could be done, that not the point either.

What I thought about is that, even to do ONE B-upgrade like that, the consequences on zanz's code can be HUGE.

What I've thought about is not a uber-upgrade that could be done after the first upgrade but an alternative upgrade.

Not necessarily more expensive than the one we know, but an alternative one. If we call the actual upgrade A, wa can call the new one B.

If you really think that grinding is harmful for this game, let's assume that B is cheaper, maybe 750g.

if you express the difference between an acutal unupped card and an upped one, like the horned frog, the actual upgrade A do this :

upgrade cost : 1k5
quanta cost : no change.
Strenght : +2.
Stamina : no change.

Imagine that upgrade B is some thing like this :

(1)
upgrade cost : 750
quanta cost : no change.
Strenght : no change.
Stamina : +1

or it could be this :

(2)
upgrade cost : 750
quanta cost : +2
Strenght : +2
Stamina : +1

or ... whatever, the ideas are not the problem ^^

You can first do upgrade A or B, and then complete with the other to have a totally upgraded card :

Horned Frog : 2 :life 3/3
Horned Frog B : 4 :life 5/4
Horned Frog A (giant frog) : 2 :life 5/3
Horned Frog A+B : 4 :life 7/4

(just an example with the second example of upgrade B)

So with only one more upgrade, a single card could have 4 different states.
The reduced cost should allowed new players to improve their deck faster and don't disgust them from the game.

I see two thing by the way :
-> more and more card names to find (not really difficult but annoying)
-> it coul be hard to implement for Zanz, i don't know.

Decay / Re: Oracle : Decay

I just tried a similar strategy.
(RoL + nighmares + emerald shield)

IA didn't played the nightmared RoL's I gave it.

He just stole my SoGs and killed me with a few pests+lobo.

Don't you think it would be able to kill you slowly if he stole your two SoGs ?

Tried this decks, it didn't worked at all.

The FG killed me slowly without seeing any druidic staff. Not enough density of it maybe.

Card Ideas and Art / Re: Monument of .....|Monument of ......
« on: August 27, 2010, 03:24:00 pm »
Why would anyone want to use this card if it was ever made.
But I'd like some sort of explanation before I go and alter the card.
Even with an increased cost, it's a single card that produced 2 per turn.
It has great advantages in this simple fact.
-> Increase the density of quanta producers in the deck.
-> Increase the diversity of quantas producers.

You could produce  :entropy :entropy :entropy :entropy per turn with 2 or 3 cards instead of four.
Imagine a deck that packs 12 pillars actually. You could make it 6/6 and have a better production, even more resitant to pillar/permanent haste.

I'm not saying that your costs are wrong. Just that even with higher ones, it could be usefull and played.
I love the idea btw.
