The difference would be instead of adding one or two purify counters and removing poison, it would add purify counters dependent upon your total water quanta.
Finally someone who can explain themselves.

My answer is "no, that is a really bad idea". That would completely destroy any poison based decks. If you suddenly have +10 purifies then it would take forever for a poison deck to start having any effect. And then you play another one of these cards and the poisoner is back to square one. I cannot think of any way to find a sensible balance to the card, either it's power is so low it's pretty much useless or it's high enough that having two or three in a deck makes it completely overpowered.

Still don't see what the problem with the card is and the suggested changes just seem bad.

Not at all, as long as you have no poison counters. It'd be a heal-every-turn. It'll need to be a bit different for the current version and perhaps a cap, though.
Yes it is the same. Purify already heals every turn. What difference are you trying to suggest here 'cause I'm not seeing one.

The entire point of this is NOT to heal every turn but to provide a one shot boost of health like heal, stone skin or holy light but for water cards. Water is an element associated not only with poison, but also with healing and cleanliness but which for some reason lacks a solid healing card

He's suggesting that instead of just healing it should add purify counters.
What would the point of that be? It's just a weaker version of purify.

Purify Counters. Not Counter to Purify. As in, +1 Purify Counter heals you 1 when your enemy attacks, +5 Purify Counters (can be achieved with 2 upped Purifies and 1 unupped Purify, for example) heals you 5, etc.
Now I'm completely lost. +5 purify heals you for 5 HP each turn anyway. What are you suggesting this card should do?

Sounds to me like a completely different card that you should design yourself.

So make them Purify counters. That seems the logical way to go.
How can you counter purify with this? Logically, the more purifies you have played, the stronger any subsequent positive effect would be so it reinforces it rather than counters it.

Personally, I think this would be a replacement for purify if I added a heal poison action to it as well.

I think this belongs a lot more in Life. Water already has an Advanced Spell (Ice Bolt/Lance), and Life is the true home of healing, anyways. If you really do like the Homeopathic thing, you could do purify counters instead...
Life already has healing spells, and purify is underpowered as a healing spell.

EDIT: Also, light and earth both have healing spells, so why not water?

Does what it says on the tin. Sort of like an inverse "siphon life" but with a larger effect for a larger cost. I liked the homoeopathic idea that the more you dilute something, the stronger the healing effect is!

Eternal Pheonix just used Fractal on his upped phoenix instead of the antimattered dragon, even though he had enough quanta to summon 5 dragons, which would have killed me as i had 65 hp and a permafrost shield up, the 7 extra phoenixes only did 14 extra damage
I've seen something like this - it was nearing the end of a long game so the AI had 100 water quanta, but chose to fractal a squid rather than an ice dragon. It fractaled the dragon later, but only after I rain of fired the board and killed all its squids.
