Deck Help / Evoker
« on: October 03, 2011, 12:53:09 am »
It's taken a lot of work, but I'm pretty happy with the progress. I have an 80% win rate at level 3. Improvement ideas would be great. Please keep all  :air :gravity :light. I want to keep this trio. I would LOVE to have the air weapon, but haven't won it after 2 years trying. So then that's not an option even thought I wish it was. Thanks in advance for ideas.  :)

Deck Help / Re: Evoker balance
« on: September 12, 2011, 06:02:43 am »
Thanks everyone! I tried just  :gravity and  :light alone. It was much worse.

I'm toying with the idea of swapping out  :life and replacing it with :air. Perhaps something with the unicorns and fireflies would be an improvement, since the quanta ties in better.

The immediate problem I am having with the deck, is decking out. I want to keep the  :life mark, Not sure if pendulums are the best choice, or if I should have chosen just light and gravity pillars instead. That would make getting out anything life very slow in the beginning. This is going to be a tough one to balance, but I'm sure I'll be very happy once it is. Thank you for your helpful suggestions.

The meat of the deck are the Otyughs. Blessing beefs them up and Thorn Carapace knocks the enemy into bite-sized pieces. The Green Nymph has been helpful. The Light Nymph might just be fluff unless I can find a better way of using her. Mitosis has been great for utilizing the Empathic Bonds!

How workable is this deck against false gods and PVP?

What's the win/loss ratio against false gods?

Aether nymph rush works pretty well for T50. Certainly not ideal, since it is sort of slow, but against the slower FG decks the ability to quint your creatures helps a lot.

Can't remember the deck code off-hand, but it's 8 water pillars, 6 tears, and rest aether pends with water mark.

Thank you!

Rainbow Decks / Re: The Devonian Way

Very interesting and well-crafted upped deck! I am still really enjoying playing the Devonian Way. So I want to work on a way to upgrade it close to the way it is right now. Maybe that will mean not upgrading some cards. And that's ok. One thing this deck definitely has for it, it's so much fun!

The red and white looks the best out of all of them.

WOOT! I like these suggestions! Thank you very much. As far as getting enough  :aether without my pillars, that worries me. But I'll give is a try. Wish I could add an eternity. That's the only reason I still have my other weapon as a back up. Can't seem to win one.  :( However, with these other suggestions, hopefully my wins will increase and I'll get a luck spin. ^-^

Your deck lacks focus:
1. Drop the lonley mindgate
2. Add three more hourglasses because they pwn.
3. Drop the aether pillars- you get enough quanta from mark+pendulums     Produced  Total Quanta
1. 3+1          4
2. 0+1          5
3. 3+1          9-6(=3)
4. 0+1          4
5. 3+1          8
6. 0+1          9-6(=3)
    Produced  Total Quanta
1. 2+1          3
2. 0+1          4
3. 2+1          7-6(=1)
4. 0+1          2
5. 2+1          5
6. 0+1          6-6(=0)4. Drop the lonely lobo.
5. Drop the lonley (and un-fractalable) dragon.
6. Add an eternity.
7. Add a sprinkle more time pillars and VOILA!: You have a deck capable of farming False-Gods. (see shameless advertisement for more details :) )

Hope this helped :P

Thank you.  :D Yes, still upgrading. However, I'd like it to become more of a slam dunk without needing to be upgraded. That way I'll know it's really ballanced.

I guess I'll just fix this up for ya. =)

The deck doesn't look too bad. I take it you're still in the process of upgrading?
