Christians are the primary (getting to the point where it's almost fitting to say "only") religion that still denies facts for claims that have no merit.
Well, I personally have never denied or claimed anything without first observing the evidence, considering the cost, etc. There is no causality between intelligence and Christianity or reason and Christianity. Anyone who becomes a Christian does so by choice, not by coercion, and in making this choice, has not sacrificed one shred of their capacity to reason or think for themselves. Unintelligent Christians aren't dumb because they are Christians. They are just unintelligent.
Wrong once again Christians are dumber and this has been verified by multiple clinical studies. Because they are dumber they are more likely to believe in ancient fairy tales and so there is a direct correlation. The more education and iq points you have the less likely you are to believe...

believing that one ABSOLUTELY doesnt exist is a little suspicious too
That's an extremely popular strawman of atheism, but that is sadly not wat it is (sorry to let you down). Hint: look at the latin root of the word....

I would judge mark as separate from the deck itself, gonna back SG's view.

Religion / Re: Christian music vs. Mainstream media
« on: January 24, 2010, 03:05:07 am »
In general atheists are one of the most intolerant groups I know- and that goes further than just music. Just mention God in front of one and they go off about trying to force "God" on them. People can't have a Christian symbol on their desk at work because it might "offend" somebody. How is that possible in a country built on religious freedom?
One of the most foolish posts in the thread and your slur against atheists is not based on anything but your own misconceptions and your own experiences. You do realize there is no such thing as a meaningful atheist grouping in society that shares anything? It is lack of belief and nothing more than that, if you had attacked humanists then that would still have been misinformed, but not straight up incorrect. People cannot be grouped according to their lack of belief in the same way you wouldn't describe all the people that do not play golf as an actual group that is somehow related. Atheism is not a school of thought (if it is then not collecting stamps is a hobby).

It is highly unlikely that there is any god or gods for that matter, in the same way that fairies, goblins and unicorns probably do not exist. However we can never prove it for sure, but believing in any of that without evidence is suspicious.

Duo-Decks / Scaredgirl's Anti-Rainbow
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:05 pm »

Finally won my third pulverizer and am currently running this in pvp and so far I have had terrible opening hands, which cripple my ability to win the match. No pillars in the opening batch of cards breaks your neck pretty badly because you cannot use the mark to circumnavigate the issue! Two games have featured no pillars in the opening hand or the three consecutive cards, which is appalling luck. I hope my luck picks up eventually because it is deeply frustrating to lose the first game like that and thus I was happy to win the three consecutive games easily. Not pulling pillars in the opening hand and then not drawing them after that stalls this deck very hard because you cannot rely on your mark to help you out and you have no free cards like dials to avoid discarding >:/

Trio & Quartet / The AMAZING Flames of Eternity
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:00 pm »

I have been selling my eternities for a while now because I have too many dropping all the time. Overall I think something like 11 or 12 eternities have passed through my hands and I have kept 6 of them (all upgraded!).

The constitution forbids it thus we are not even allowed to think about it! Baaah baah!

The British constitution allows us to bear arms, but nobody makes use of that clause because we are probably far more sensible than the Americans, at least when it comes to guns. The argument about what the actual will of the founding fathers really was seems pointless and outdated because it does not matter to the USA today. Frankly it did not even matter in the 20th century. All these Americans going insane over the possible health care legislation is entertaining to watch (at a distance) and the cries of this is not what the founding f***s (saints in the american pantheon?) wanted are icing on the cake. Delicious!
