Does 'all creatures' include your own side?

The card is in the trainer, but only in the bazaar. You do not get it if you press 'all cards'. Not sure if this is a bug or done on purpose. But you can definitely get the card in the trainer, just takes a bit more time.

It's a nice card. But not sure how useful it is, considering darkness already has vampires, which cost the same. Though Gargoyles could be very nice with liquid shadow. Hmm.

I don't see why you don't simply make a general rule "all creatures can only use one ability per turn".
dont forget the rustler.
an allready existing creature that can use his skill several times per turn.

on the trainer i could see that zanzarino found a elegant answer for preventing an endless life quanta exploit.

normal rustler = works as usual (you can transform all your light into life)
rustler+SoR  = 1time skill usage/per turn
But on the rustler it explicitely says you can use it multiply times per turn. So it makes sense that this card is an exception. On dive it does not say you can use it multiple times per turn.

And the 'rustler + SoR = only one usage per turn' rule is ugly because it changes a card in an unexpected and undocumented way. Necessary, but ugly.

We are now trying a new version of this card: still cost=0 but the skill is not immediately available anymore. I know; it is less "readiness" and it takes away part of the surprise effect. But a creature that does not need quanta to do something still feels quite "ready" to me.

It clearly did not work well with dive, the problem could be fixed, but it still creates too many restrictions for future cards.
I also did not like how it feels to have this card used against you with certain creatures like anubis, keeping yourself ready to stop a certain combo was a nice strategy.

Please take some time to try this second version, still, the card can be changed again.
I don't see why you don't simply make a general rule "all creatures can only use one ability per turn". That's not a change to this card, not a change to dive, but a change to the global rules of the game. But a good one. It solves not only abuse of this card, but a lot of potential problems with future cards as well!

I'm sorry, but recent research has convincingly shown that the earth has already been destroyed. These are pretty new insights, and most people are not aware of it yet, but the evidence is overwhelming.

A sleeping giant creature that is immortal, has 0/20, and comes into play on your opponents side, could be fun.

It's not really a nerf to dive anyway, it is?

I mean right now dive doubles your attack, but since there is absolutely no way you can use it twice in one turn, it always works over your base attack.

This is the only card in the game that allows one creature to use an ability twice in one turn. So it's a simply matter of saying: You can't do that.

Implement this shard in such a way that you can only use an ability once per turn per creature. Problem fixed.

It's aether and attacks creatures from either side? Ehm, so most of the time it'll end up attacking your own creatures. That's useful.

Plus, immortal creatures with < 5 attack usually don't bother me much. It's those immortal creatures with 10+ attack that kill me.

No, attack will not go below zero with this. Creatures with zero or less attack will not be affected.

And yes, it's stackable.

NOTES:
The idea behind this card is that it makes all attacking for both sides harder. It's clearly a good card for decks that like stalling. I choose light because it fits the theme best, because light doesn't have any permanents yet, and because it will make white more attractive for multi-colour decks.
The upgraded card gets the ability that you can sacrifice it. This allows you to remove the effect at a time of your chosing.
(Not entirely happy with the phrasing there. Suggestions welcome. "Discard this card to discard this card" is awesome, but perhaps a bit too crytic.)

Honestly, I think that this is both balanced and awesome.  Consider it a 5/3 momentum immaterial creature with 2 :darkness upkeep -- at that point, it seems much more balanced, doesn't it?
But it's not. It's a 5/3 momentum immaterial creature that you can still throw spells on. That's what makes this card awesome.

I really like this idea. It's quite strong, but considering the high cost probably balanced.

I don't understand how people can say this card is weak. It's incredibly powerful in mono or dual deck (worthless in rainbow).

Put three of these in play. Create prisms, next round sacrifice all three, spend the quanta, create three new ones.

This allows you to make a monodeck that can play cards of any element as long as they cost less than 3.
