i always threw it when opponent had almost full midline. but still they can manage to get an attack if they throw a creature in the flood.
and the feeling i got on the cons of this deck is that u almost need to upgrade ur squids to be able to fight with the quantum. if opponent got more than 5 vicious creatures

it prolly works but ide suggest using 4 dragons and some immortals instead bcuz if if a HB pulls upp gravity shield ur basicly screwed. and Immortals are a good way if u need to play defensive with shields and u prolly wount get enough quantums to be able throw up a new one if waiting to get out dragon.

What Jangoo said. i would recomend going this deck that jangoo made http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5618.0.html and farm T50 instead for more rares its always nice =)
If going halfbloods instead to try uppgrade ur FG deck use Mono Aether

i Threw in a Bonewall since i was facing some1 using White deck and just killed me with that evul sword.. and spammed SoF and miracle it was horrible >_< but i find it pretty usefull always =) saves some time if getting bad draws or need time to pump up ur creatures

looks nice tbh.
its looks pretty hard to throw in a couple of momentums in there aswell to avoid faceing gravity shield since gravity force is pretty nice to get rid of threats but then again not much threat agains massive dragon since they rly wount get eaten by otys ^^

i must say.. just tried this deck out and lost 8/10 games.. and i find it rather crap for my taste without any healing whatsoever its a slow death..
if ur lucky u will get ur squids early but then u will face an opponent with either shit loads of creatures and u have to spend all ur quanta so fractal squids is just staaling ur own death.. without being able to throw down ur dragons bcuz ur low on quanta and dunno really if flood is that good if u manage to live longe enough for opponent to get the upper or lower bars of creatures they still do damage when they cast em
