Deck Help / Re: Mutation Deck (Rainbow)
« on: February 24, 2011, 01:55:58 am »
Oh wow and I completely forgot to check back on this topic for a month O.o Sorry for late reply or bringing back up an old topic :P Thanks for your suggestions, I have tried to tweak the deck as suggested and it works much better now, especially as I don't run out of Gravity quanta as often. :D Thanks again!

PS: I made these changes
-5 Novas
-1 Supernova
-1 Elite Otyugh
-1 Boneyard
-1 Fallen Elf
-1 Spark
+3 Quantum Pillars
+1 Permafrost Shield
+1 Parasite
+2 Electrum Hourglasses

So now it only has...36 cards :P How does this sound?

this is better
Code: [Select]
6rn 6rn 6rq 6rq 6rq 6rq 6rq 6rq 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gp 7gp 7gr 7gr 7gr 7gr 7gr 7gr 7h2 7h2 7h2 7h2
Generally I agree that this deck is much better, except too many rares and different cards equals less chance to win a card from the spins :P My deck (a harm?) has fewer variants of cards so hopefully we'll have a nice chance of winning a rare  (if this gets put up of course) :D

Time factory is not allowed i think...
I thought it is? Time Factory is the pillar for Time and it was in the pic of allowed cards...?

FAQ

Q: I have huge problems with text. It's seriously chronic. Give me an image to rest my eyes on.

Every time I try that Sudden Firebolt deck, I die because I don't pull the dimensional shields in time...  :'(
For me, I can't get draw enough shields in time and so im forced to firebolt his HP in a last effort but can't get enough Fire quanta out to win in one blow :(

Water / Re: Arctic Squid / Arctic Octopus

I would say this card is very annoying if your opponent has it and keeps freezing your monsters and stoping you from dealing any damage. :( But if you have the card it could really help you from monster attacking your hp. Is annoying if your opponent has it but really helpful if you got the monster on your side of the field. :)
I agree, it's awesome CC, but its low HP makes it vulnerable (not good when its on your side) and easy to get rid of (good when it's your opponents) xD Paired with SoRs or Quintessences, I think Arctic Squids could be a major annoyance :P Still it's an awesome rare card IMO. :D

PvP Tournaments / Re: Post your tournament ideas here
« on: February 23, 2011, 09:29:58 am »
Um I'm not sure if these ideas would be mentioned before but hopefully not.

1) Speed Rush: Rush decks only. Must switch a different type of rush deck every round. (Life rush, shrieker rush, Immo Fire rush...)
2) Fixed Rainbow: Rainbow decks. Must have X number of cards of every element in your deck, excluding quantum towers and other cards.
3) Fighting Poison with Poison: Only poison decks. Forest scorpion, chrysora, dune scorpion..etc. No other creatures without the poison ability allowed. Ban card Purify.

Thanks! :)

I like the idea, but the ability is a little too much, IMO. Also, Ziz protects little birds in the myth, right? Um how about making it to protect only the :air creatures (with less than 2 attack)? Less powerful that way? Just a suggestion :)

Okay here's the basic deck idea I have based on the request above.
Not sure how practical this could be, or if it's too easy or too hard. :) The quantum produced would probably be more than needed but I needed something to fill up the deck to 30. xD Please edit and modify it to your liking.  ^^

Code: [Select]

Thanks! :D

Arctic Squids please? Maybe Arctic Squid/Shockwave Combo or Arctic Squid + SoR (that'd be two types of rares :D)

Thanks anyway. Hopefully I'll get an Eternity or two from you. ^^

Introduce Yourself / Salutations!
« on: January 24, 2011, 08:45:34 am »
I figured I might as well do this, since I just suddenly showed up as a total noob from nowhere and start randomly joining in convos.

I'm Coolredsmart, I'm a girl. I usually don't have a lot of patience, which is why I'm so surprised I actually stick to grinding. Guess there's just something about Elements that made me addicted. I'm talkative and random.

I've been playing Elements 'bout 3 months ago, and have been hopelessly in love with it ever since. I have yet to try my hand at a PVP tournament because every weekend, the tournament times always unfortunately crash with my schedule. My fave element is  :water. I'm working towards upgrading cards for CCYB. Still a looonng way to go. I have about 10 different AI3 decks and I switch them every once in a while to make it even more interesting. I've given up on FGs for now because I keep losing. :P AI3s, here I come!

Annnnd I'm excited about WoE.

Elements has also caused fantasy strategy card games to grow on me. One of these days, I will remember to go Google Magic the Gathering and see what it is.

That's pretty much everything I have to say. So hai, thank you for actually reading my ramble, and I'll probably see you around sometime. :)

Great games, never thought the lack of quanta could work out in my favour. xD
