The eternities are also for offense (mutate creature, then rewind) and even though the skelly mechanics have changed, before I deck out I usually have some mutated or reborn (rewinded skellies) creatures that are cheap to play. As for the upping, I usually have enough death and aether quanta, so I don't need to cut corners there, and I haven't got the gold to upgrade cats before I am sure that this deck is valid. ;)

Yeah, the defense is a bit weak. 3 graveyards are a ton of skellies though, an if my opponent kills them, he feeds my wall. My problem is usually if he goes mass creatures. The deck will kick in to late. And I don't have any shards but div and grat yet. The others didn't exist back in my days. ;)

Yeah, it's based on the old fg killers. About the shields, yes, dissipation does not really work. What else to use? Jade and permafrost?

Been afk loong time, missed soo many patches.. I left shortly after the sundial nerf..  ;D

The oldschool rainbows used 2 graveyards, druids and otis to generate creatures and kills for an eternal bonewall and to mutate steal and destroy skills against items. Some decks tried firequeens instead.

My suggested deck uses multiple graveyards and Schrödingers cats for the same effect. It has anubis for creature protection, dual eternity and druids for creature controll. Vs few and strong creatures, use bonewall. Vs many weak, use dissipation field.

Usually I use quintessence on a cat and play the anubis naked, trying to protect him with his own skill. Hopefully any anti creature cards have been wasted on skellies by then.

Does this look valid for platinum hunting to you? It might go to low on :time and :entropy. Reduce by one druid and one prot artifact, go more quanta towers? Maybe hourglass?

Since I did format c: and reinstalled everything, we can safely rule out that my problem will be solved by those steps. I'm even guessing that more people will get the problem if they clear their caches.

Is the html code linking to old filenames no longer in use? Can somebody post a direct link to one of the gxf bits in use on the etg page? http://www.elementsthegame.com/bullet.jpg and http://www.elementsthegame.com/chatbutton.jpg  is broken here. Can you open those links? Do you see the gfx when you come to etg.com?

Edit: It suddenly works again for me. :) All back to normal it seems.

Edit2 - And now it's gone again. Whats happening here? O_o

Same problem here. I just had to reinstall my comp, so I thought that would be the cause, but it seems there is more to this.

I'm not sure if this is in the 1.19 as well, but I would expect so.

Reflection also reflect heals directed at the shiel-bearer, right?

I just had a game where the lv.3 ai tried to heal itself and failed due to a reflective shield. The ai was in dire need of hp (it died the next turn), but I assume that it wasn't desperate but just unable to understand the way it's shield works.

Usually a deck gets better if it's smaller. So maybe try to figure which part of your deck works best, and drop everything else that exceeds 30 cards?

And about deck definition:

-Cards from one element need up to 12 kinds of mana (think fate egg or mutants). Is that mono?

-Decks that use only one kind of mana can use cards from light (photon), air (animate weapon), fire (immolation), time (upped sundial) and so on. Is that mono?

So do I have to limit myself to both mana use and card origin to be mono? And what has this definition to do with how the game is played? Why exclude animate weapon from mono, when clearly every one-mana-kind-only-deck can and will use it? Just to make the typical deck an actual player uses a dual deck by definition?

Ah, I finally found the post where SG changes the rules, sorry for all the questions:

I've been thinking about what Delreich said earlier on this thread..

We need to change the mono deck rules a bit for this competition. Here are the new rules:

1. You can only use cards from your own element + "Other"
2. You can use any mark
So now the masters are allowed to mass quantum towers. :)
