I don't know if this essence deck is a ruse or what but I have used two variations and both performed absolutely awful on Gold. The first variation I used was -1 archangel, +1 morning glory then I transitioned into the variation listed by parasite below.

Parasite claims to be getting a 70-80% win rate against gold however from my experiences the win rate against gold is more like 30-40%. There are far too many ways for decks to completely crush this deck for it to be effective.

PS. If there is some magical strat that suddenly makes this deck decent than so be it and I am mistaken, however I see a pretty rigid strategy and little to no wiggle room.

Game Suggestions and Feedback / The creature board and its layout

I'm new to elements, as in extremely new. At first thought I believed mentioning that was a bad idea as it would likely discount any and all credibility I had. However I believe my suggestion is extremely viable and in fact quite beneficial for all players.

Simply put everyone knows there are 3 creature rows. In terms of overlapping it runs from top to bottom, as in the top row overlaps the middle row, as the middle row overlaps the bottom row. Now my suggestion is to make the middle row overlap both the top and bottom row. As the layout currently is the top and bottom rows are spaced apart so both could easily be seen and used if the middle row dominated position. As well, nearly all important creatures will be on the middle row. Whether you are making fireflies, skeletons, fractals, etc. most of your top creatures will be on the middle row.

Just as you must now use creatures and their abilities on the bottom and middle rows while obscured by the top row, you would have to use creatures and abilities of those in the top and bottom rows obscured by the middle row.

However the difference is the majority of your usable creatures and their effects plus playable cards allow you to see the board and moves that are at your disposable much more prevalent and open.
