This does make sense. Thank you.
Thanks guys :)

Hopefully I can update this soon with more decks on the list.

Ok I think I might be on to something unupped & no rares that might beat him. This game only went wrong because he got to steal every mindgate using his creatures abillities (he only has 2 improved steals) and my last mind gate was on the bottom of course

the idea is to use antimatter and quintessence on his creature to keep you alive and not allow him to mutate them. the mindgate was my weapon of choise to eventualy win using his dragons and other creatures to hopefully kill him. didnt get to test it working yet. but maybe just a couple fractals on his dragons would be a better idea anyways, except those are great targets for antimatter+quint :S

anyone have some ideas? staying alive was EZ btw.

Majofa, you might want to list the life deck unupped, because that isn't a lot worse, and it will show you can use it unupped either, I just EM'ed DG easily with this deck:

Code: [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi
Unfortunatly the unupped deck still does use rares, so most new players still wont be able to use it after they get DG predicted from the Oracle. Still good you pointed out that it works fine unupped.

False Gods / List&Links - Unupped Deck vs False Gods (Oracle)
« on: February 02, 2011, 08:51:29 pm »
List with links/codes of decks used to beat FGs with no upgraded cards or rares.

So I've went through every single Oracle: False God thread and compiled the unupgraded decks in a document and made a complete list of cards needed to make all those decks. Here I'll share with you the links, the deck codes with mark and the complete list of the cards needed.

These decks don't always win, but each one is cheap, using no upgrades and no rares.

These False Gods do not have an unupgraded deck and are not listed here: Chaos Lord, Divine Glory, Dream Catcher, Graviton, Jezebel and Scorpio.

If you are unsure how to use one of the decks go to the thread (by clicking on the deck) - there are some tips, sometimes.

Upped decks can be found here: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,22567.0.html (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,22567.0.html)

This list is no longer complete since 1.27
ADD: 14 wind pillar,5 azure dragon,6 wings, 5 precognition, 7 dark pendulum, 17 entrophy pendulum.

Thanks for the input. You are probably right and the idea might only work if each element gets more complete. It being level 7 is only because i didnt want to change anything from the original game yet, it could be a level 6 and Fgs become level 7. Not so much the problem.

What is indeed a problem is how some elements mono y mono would be just about your draws.

I dont think the Quantum Globes should be available to players. Maybe spins would just be quantum towers instead.

*Transforming this Post into a more general Post of all my basic Ideas*

Level #   Challenge a God Elemental in its own Plane

There are Twelve of these Gods, One for each Element. You can only Play with Cards of Your Mark or Other (Aka Mono-Decks), and will Fight a Mono Deck of Your own Mark using all (pure) Cards of that Mark.

For Example, Your mark is air, you click the challenge button and if your deck contains only air cards and has an air mark you will play a god using All air cards except for Unstable Gas, Elite Queen and Elite Fireflies. The god will ofcourse have everything upgraded, and some other big bonuses, so its somewhat challenging.

I like the Idea that Winning would give You 3x Mark Quantum if You remain to use that Mark (but no longer nessecarily Mono), it would dissapear as soon as You lost a Game. This bonus only applies to PvE games Ofcourse!

Level #   Challenge the True God Element

This would be a 12 colour elements deck using Quantum Globes which are pillar/towers which provide 1 of each quantum each turn. The decks use 12 colours and different strategies.

Level #   Survive the Vengeance of the False Gods

After winning vs. False Gods for the 100th? time you must first play Survive the Vengeance of the False Gods (SVFG) and survive/*win* before you can grind False Gods again.
SVFG would be a game where you play against 3 random False Gods at the same time.. (he gets 3 turns with a different mark each turn, and combines 3 decks but draws a full hand each of the 3 turns. He only attacks at the end of the 3rd turn) You would have to survive for a set number of turns.

Deck Help / Re: Need some help building an anti-FG rainbow
« on: January 27, 2011, 03:01:05 pm »
You probably want to inspire your deck on something like PuppyChow's http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1748.0.html deck.

Use all your Electrum Glasses and use Time Mark.
replace Super novas with pillars.
Maybe use fog shield.
Probably use sundials.

Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 52n 52r 5f8 5f8 5og 5ro 5rp 5rp 5rp 5up 621 621 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6u6 74b 74b 7n3 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5
Something like this but needs some testing and tweaking.

Rainbow Decks / Re: PVP Cheap Grabow (Unupped & No Rares)
« on: January 27, 2011, 02:01:28 pm »
Yes, that might be better. But it's also what this is a modification of or at least inspired on. (Partly)

Why I chose to do it differently is for this reasons mostly:

There arent realy enought great non-upd rushing cards besides graboid.

Blessing/Pegasus are expansive and isn't consistent even with such a large pillar count as I'm using. (unless we'd go all light and drop graboids)
Golems are way to expansive and not worth it in this deck unless I could get immolations in.
Arsenic is rare and thus wasn't available.

this deck is designed to equal atleast the stronger portion of a typical graboid/shrieker eath deck using time mark. I used to run this deck below and farm Ai3 very good:

6 graboids
6 shriekers
1 short sword
17 eath pillar

So this deck takes the strongest half of that, adds novas, and some utility to be usable in pvp. with the remaining quanta going into the cheapest decent hitters I could find.

Lycanthrope and Forest spirit used in this deck are 6/6 or 5/5 atleast (almost all the time) Forest spirit could grow bigger and Discords give you lucky help here sometimes but your stone quantum still barely ever gets screwed up thanks to all those pillars.

Precognitions are a great way to use your mark when your hand isnt great. They are better than adding in copies of stuff that potentionaly will be a dead card. seeing the opponents hand realy allowed me to trick the opponent or out smart him a couple of times.

I have not tested it vs. a quantum pillar based graboid deck played by someone great, so the wins so far dont feel like justified proof.. but I think the deck realy shines more than most would think at first sight.

Update..

Stats:
Score 1061
Won 25
Lost 1
TTW ~9 >:(
Electrum 1824 + 474 from cards not sold
Eternity (Quest)

TTW is very high because everything is such an easy target for CC, which everybody uses.

Won a game with my worst hand (till now) in 9 rounds also having to Burrow for a good 3 rounds that game. Precognition is great! If he killed my shriekers with RoF I would've lost..

So yeah.. didnt get shut down ever but have been slowed down alot of the games.

So I discovered new patch was out.. Had some fun testing the new cards in trainer and started a new account. I finished the AI quests and reset my account (You keep the quests ;))and sold cards and used the money to make this:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]

Stats:
Won 12
Lost 1
Score 506
Electrum 969 + 170 from cards not sold
Eternity (Quest)

The stats are only from playing this in PVP1 it has been slightly modified after the 1 loss.
Basicaly I like thinking about decks more than playing so I wanted to just get that Eternity fast and than figure out a nice Rainbow FG deck :)

It has beaten some similar decks that use quantum pillars instead of stone pillars, but the one loss is against one of those decks, although this was still being fine tuned at that time.

I will try and test it in pvp1 some more and see if it consistantly beats them now.
