You know what you should do? Spread them around! give them to some random people to get them to start playing it!
Yup. Put http://www.elementsthegame.com/ on the back on the edge of the cards. :P
Could be helluva viral advertising campaign at that, just leaving a few around or in a book at the library or a magazine at the doctor's office or...

Yes, if we were to get serious, yeah it would be interesting.  They are awfully cheap to make and would invoke some curiosity.  Coupled with this I'd recommend a larger push on the web side of things.  There are plenty of websites that offer relatively cheap ad spots.  This all of course is dependent on how much revenue the Elements game is already generating, and from there you determine how much is a worthy investment into advertisements.

This is well and good and your enthusiasm is great for the community. But before you launch some kind of campaign I'd really talk to Zanzarino a little bit more thoroughly about this. My understanding is that Elements is a pet project of his, and if he hasn't already aimed for viral advertising it's likely because that's not entirely what he's after. From my experience he is an extremely convivial and open-minded fellow and I'm sure he'd be happy to chat with you, but as a matter of respect for him in general I would handle anything like this with the utmost propriety.

ah yes, I only meant that it would be something for him to think about.  I mean I'm not about to launch an advertising campaign out of my dorm room haha

and realistically, I don't think that this game is profitable enough to warrant any advertising push that will be worth the return (yet anyways)

Yeah, we weren't starting anything!  Promise!   ???

Of course.  I was throwing an idea I had, not proposing our next strategic move.  Zanz would have to sign off on anything of that sort.

How do you use mutations with real cards??? :o :P
1. If unupped, use a weighed dice or a turntable to determine the result of the mutation: mutant? abom? death?
2. If it's a mutant, use a X-sided dice to figure out what creature the resulting mutant would be. X is the number of creatures able to result from mutation.
3. Do the same for the mutant's ability.
4. Do the same for the extra stats the mutant gains. (Note : this is same as chaos power anyway)

....let's just play the game without :entropy.
...or at the very least, without Discord.

Discord is fairly easy too.
Roll 10d12. Remove 1 of that quanta (reroll if no quanta present)
Roll 10d12. Add 1 of that quanta
