What If? What if you could have a deck that used less than 30 cards. https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=66509.msg1282700#msg1282700

Genuinely curious.

If you could build a deck that could use less than 30 cards, lets say a minimum of 10 cards, would you take advantage of this and how would that deck be able to compete with 30-60 card decks?

Would like to see some deck ideas. I would assume a speed dragon deck.

Precognition technically doesn't count since it draws another card on play, and is a spell.

You can have a 24-card deck this way.

Also, expect a cremarush/SNbow. They're fast with their insta-quanta, so and as such care less about cards remaining.

The Pros of >30 Card Decks: Easier to get specific cards, especially if the deck is a combo deck; Might make games faster?

The Cons: Limited to Rush Decks; Easier to deck out, especially with only 10 cards; For some cases it's better to have 30 card decks; Mostly inconsistent

In that case, I think the ideal deck size would be about 20-30.

That immorush could use a longsword. Also no need to go up to 6 cards

oetg-v allows testing decks with much fewer cards

Real rushes win with 3 draws everytime

Titan OTK idea fails, have to wait until there's only 6 cards left, which takes too long, but need those turns to collect quanta. Whereas voodoo OTK has too many cards

There was a way many years ago you were able to play with a 24 card deck. Zanz later removed that feature when he realize people found out and used it for grinding.

You can have an arena deck with as little as 5 cards if you submit the deck and then sell the cards you used to build it.
