Title: The Deck Trainers (unofficial indirect PvP event)
Post by: ARTHANASIOS on May 14, 2014, 10:06:55 pm
The Deck Trainers

(unofficial indirect PvP event)

You are a Deck Trainer, an elemental who has trained his/her deck to fight by itself without any direct commands! Are you going to become the best Deck Trainer ever existed or face a humiliating defeat? Only the final results of this event will show...

Let's all admit it. We've missed the good old PvP, but the servers won't allows us to do so. However, it is still possible to have indirectly PvP events like this one. If interested, keep reading. ;)
Instead of playing live games with your opponent, you construct your deck in the trainer (http://www.elementsthegame.com/trainer.html), you write down any playing priorities and strategies and you PM it to the Organizer of this event (in this case, me!) and let him test it against the deck of your opponent by following any strategic guide you wish to add to your deck!

If you find the rules too complicated, don't worry. Just PM me THREE decks within ONE private message and be sure the decks are made according the allowed card pool. I'll do the rest. ;-)

All cards are allowed (upped and unupped), except for Shards and Marks cards. Nymphs are also allowed.

* Participation:

Anyone who wishes to participate can post in this topic something like "count me in", "I will participate" etc. and/or by PMing their 1st round decks.

* Rules:

Participants are going to face each other at randomly generated tournament brackets (much like those used at Weekly Tournies), using byes whenever this is appropriate.

- At the beginning of each round, each participant is going to PM the Organizer with the three (3) decks he/she wishes to use with order priority (1st deck, 2nd deck, 3rd deck), along with any Strategical Hints you may wish to add.
- A participant may use different decks each round and has to PM the Organizer with his/her new decks between the 3 first days of a new round (if the participant fails to submit any PMs including any decks before the deadline of a new round will cause using the very same decks submitted to the previous round), except if he/she doesn't change any decks or strategies at all.
- Every PMed set of 3 decks must use the following format:

Code: [Select]
1st Deck: Deck Name (Optional)
[deck][/deck]
Strategical Hints:
 Optional

2nd Deck: Deck Name (Optional)
[deck][/deck]
Strategical Hints:
 Optional

3rd Deck: Deck Name (Optional)
[deck][/deck]
Strategical Hints:
 Optional

Q: What do you mean by "Strategical Hints"?

A: The "Strategical Hints" are a formula which represents both the general and situational strategy of your deck. It helps at determining which card to play first or what kind of ability to activate each turn. If you have 1 :time quantum, a Deja Vu and a Sundial in your hand, which card do you play this turn (the Deja Vu or the Sundial)? If you have a stone-skinned Gargoyle on the field, a Liquid Shadow in your hand, 4 :darkness quanta and your opponent has a flying Eternity on the field, where are you going to use your Liquid Shadow on (your Gargoyle or the Eternity)? These kind of decisions matter and you should describe possibilities such as these in order to ensure the Organizer is going to use your deck properly.

Example:

1st Deck: Green Beer?
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ac 7ai 7ai 7aj 7an 7an 7ao 7ao 7ao 7ao 7ao 7ao 7b0 7b0 7b0 7b0 7b0 7bu 7bu 7bu 7bu 7bu 7bu 7bu 8pn

Strategical Hints:
* Play your Towers/Pends first, your Adrenalines & Green Nymph's ability second, your Scorpions third, your Green Nymphs fourth, your Spine Carapace fifth, your Improved Heals last.
* Use Adrenalines only on Scorpions, but if a hostile creature with an attack of 2 or 3 and a dangerous ability is on the field and you have a Spine Carapace on your shield slot, use an Adrenaline on that hostile creature instead.
* If you are below 50 health, play an Improved Heal before doing anything else.

2nd Deck: Greygreen Stall...
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 77c 77c 77c 77c 77e 77e 77e 77e 77e 77e 77i 77i 77k 77k 77k 77k 77k 77k 77s 77s 77s 77s 77s 77s 7al 7an 7an 7an 7an 7an 7an 8pn

Strategical Hints:
* Play your Towers and Gnome Gemfinders first, your Epinephrines & Earth Nymph's ability second, your Diamond Shield & Jade Staff third, your Earth Nymphs fourth, your Protect Artifact fifth, your Granite Skins last.
* Use your Epinephrines on your Gnomes in order to produce more :earth quanta faster than normal.
* Use Protect Artifact on your Jade Staff (or your Diamond Shield if you haven't drawn your Staff yet). However, if your opponent has Earthquakes/Tridents, you may use it on your Towers instead.
* Your Earth Nymph's ability (Basilisk Blood) must be used only if there are non-delayed hostile creatures. However, if you have an Adrenalined Gemfinder on field, use the Basilisk Blood Nymph's ability on him for protection from CC (especially if there is a Fire Shield or a Thorn Carapace).
* If an Earth Nymph of yours is at verge of death, use her ability on herself and target her with an Epinephrine of yours if you have one.
* If you are below 20 health or having 75 :earth quanta, play a Granite Skin before doing anything else.

3rd Deck: Pure Shadow!
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
7gn 7gq 7gq 7gq 7gq 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t5 7t5 7t5 7t5 7t5 7t5 7t8 7t9 7ta 7to 7to 7to 7to 8pp

Strategical Hints:
* Play your Towers first, your Purify & Dark Nymph's ability second, your Obsidian Dragons third, every other card last.
* Target your Obsidian Dragons with Dark Nymph's ability (Liquid Shadow) and then play a Purify on them. If you have less than 30 health, use Liquid Shadow on your own Nymphs. Also, if a dangerous hostile creature with a low health (and a low attack, if possible) is present, use Liquid Shadow upon it. Otherwise, Congeal it.
* Eclipse should be established as soon as you have a creature on the field.
* Against Dim Shield or Wings spamming, use your Steal at the very end of the game to land the finishing blow. Otherwise, use your steal at the very first Shield your opponent plays in order to gain extra protection from damage.

* List of allowed cards:

All cards are allowed (upped and unupped), except for Shards (hated!) and Marks (they don't exist in trainer). But Nymphs are allowed and they exist in plethora in the trainer (just press the "All Cards" button).

* Deck Matches:

- After receiving the 3 PMed decks of 2 respective opponents (let's say PlayerA and PlayerB), the Organizer is going to run 5 games by using PlayerA's 1st deck (along with every strategic hint) versus PlayerB's 1st deck (controlled by AI) and record its win/loss ratio. After that, the Organizer is going to do the exact opposite; is going to run 5 games by using PlayerB's 1st deck (along with every strategic hint) versus PlayerA's 1st deck (controlled by AI) and record its win/loss ratio.
- The 1st deck with the most wins (and less losses) is going to be declared the winner and its owner gains 1 "best-of-three" point. In case the win/loss ratio of the 2 decks is a tie, the same 5-game procceedure will be repeated until one of the 2 decks wins.
- The same procedure will be repeated with the 2nd deck of the 2 respective opponents. Again, the Organizer is going to run 5 games by using PlayerA's 2nd deck (along with every strategic hint) versus PlayerB's 2nd deck (controlled by AI) and record its win/loss ratio. After that, the Organizer is going to do the exact opposite; is going to run 5 games by using PlayerB's 2nd deck (along with every strategic hint) versus PlayerA's 2nd deck (controlled by AI) and record its win/loss ratio.
- Once again, the 2nd deck with the most wins (and less losses) is going to be declared the winner and its owner gains 1 "best-of-three" point. In case the win/loss ratio of the 2 decks is a tie, the same 5-game procceedure will be repeated until one of the 2 decks wins.
- At this point, if one of the two players has gained 2 "best-of-three" points, he/she is declared the winner (see below).
- If both players have 1 "best-of-three" points, the process executed for the 1st and 2nd decks is going to be repeated for the 3rd decks.
- In other words, the Organizer is going to run 5 games by using PlayerA's 3rd deck (along with every strategic hint) versus PlayerB's 3rd deck (controlled by AI) and record its win/loss ratio. After that, the Organizer is going to do the exact opposite; is going to run 5 games by using PlayerB's 3rd deck (along with every strategic hint) versus PlayerA's 3rd deck (controlled by AI) and record its win/loss ratio.
- The one of the two players who has gained the 2 "best-of-three" points is declared the winner (see below).

* Winner and loser of each round:
- The player who gathered 2 "best-of-three" points procceeds to the next round of the event. The owner of the losing decks is disqualified.
- Because of this, you are discouraged of creating too complicated decks for an AI to handle (it may drop your win/loss ratio).

* During the Rounds:

- The duration of a round is a whole week. The first 3 days is the Deck submitting period, followed by a 3-day period when the matches are played and the results are recorded, with a final day when the results are being announced and the new-round brackets are made (the brackets are going to be RNG-made).
- A participant has to PM the Organizer with his/her decks between the 3 first days of a new round. If the participant fails to submit any PMs including any decks within the first 3-day period of a round, the Organizer is going to use his/her submitted decks of the previous round as they are (same order, same strategies). Moreover, a participant may submit the very same deck 2 or 3 times in a single PM if he/she wishes to fight with the same deck more than once against the same opponent.
- If a participant submits just a single deck, the Organizer is going to use that deck as both the 1st,2nd and 3rd deck.
- If a participant submits only two decks, the Organizer is going to use the first deck as both the 1st and 3rd deck, while the second deck will be treated as the 2nd deck.
- If a participant submits a deck with less than 30 cards, the Organizer is going to fill up the empty spaces with Quantum Towers.
- If a participant doesn't include any Strategical Hints for a deck within his/her submission (they are optional anyway), the Organizer is going to play with the deck as he sees fit.
- At the last day, the new round brackets are going to be posted in this topic. Moreover, every participant and his/her opponent is going to recieve a PM from the Organizer about all the decks, strategies and results that used and/or occured during their games (that PM is going to have the following format: [Round X] Player A [best-of-three points] - Player B [best-of-three points]). The two opponents ought NOT to reveal any decks or strategies of the other player to the public till the end of the event.

* Winner of the event:

- The last man standing to the top is going to be the winner of The Deck Trainers (what a lame name btw! :P) but he/she wins nothing... nothing at all (no :electrum, no fancy icons), except for tons of +rep. :D
- Furthermore, at the end of the event, all the PMs sent to the participants during the event from the Organizer are going to be posted in this topic in order to view the strategies used by all the players during the tournament.

* Questions & Answers:

Any question you may have you can post it in this topic and I will do my best to answer it asap and clarify everything! Thank you!

Question: May I use Cells, Ashes and other NPC only cards as part of the deck code, assuming it is still 30 cards without them?

Answer: Nope. Only cards existing within the trainer's bazaar and their upgraded versions (except shards). I can't playtest Ashes, Cells etc. via the trainer can I?

Question: Are we allowed to use the  :chroma as the deck mark?

Answer: Sorry, no Mark of Chroma ( :chroma ) since it does not appear as an option in the "^ Change Mark" button at "Your Deck" within the trainer. :(

Question: Is originality taken into account?

Answer: Sorry, but no. This is supposed to be a PvP event and not a deck-building competition. However, since it would be pretty lame to encounter just Immorushes, Dim Stalls, Ghostmares etc, deck originality IS encouraged! My suggestion is to abuse the plethora of Nymphs to come up with something both effective and original. ;)

Question: Should we +rep the winner?

Answer: Yes, yes and yes again! PvP events are based in fairplay and, since the winner isn't going to gain any rewards, his/her fellow plarticipants and community members in general are supposed to +rep the winner of this event.

Question: Do you need any help to organize this event?

Answer: Help is really appreciated, though not needed at the moment, especially since this event is non-official and less stressful than official PvP events. However, if this event is ever launched as an official one, more than a single Organizer is going to be needed. If you wish to help, you can either participate or advertise this event for more people to join in. :)

Time for closing the participation proccess:
no time left

*For ROUND#2, if you wish to submit new 1st,2nd and 3rd Decks and/or Strategical Hints instead of using the same ones, you have...

* Please double check your decks in case of including Shards/Mark cards.

Such cards can only be imported if the user has them. While the player has no cell/ash/mark cards, the AI has access to anything and everything. By having them in the deck code, the same deck would effectively have extra cards when AI controlled.

EDIT: You may also be able to win them off the AI but that cannot be expected of you.

All the submitted/PMed decks must have a cardpool a player's deck can use and not an NPC/AI 'cardpool'. The decks may be used as AI decks at some points but they must be fully fictional PC decks (they must also have exactly the same cardpool at both their PC and AI 'versions' of them).

Rats, now I'm torn between trying to get a vanilla variant of openEtG going and continuing quest idea dev... (sandbox in openEtG lets you test out non-available cards even in PvP, but the meta and some mechanics are too different from trainer right now :(  )
Oh well...

Even without my SoPaCell rusher I would still like to give it a try. (shard hate makes me sad... all they need is to give a few of them a good whooping from the nerf bat and all would be well)
Count me in!

Rules updated! Now, you have to submit 3 different decks instead of just a single one.

You're ok! I've already read your decks and they're fine. :)
Also, about your Nova/SNova question, no you don't have to include a "do not play more than 2 Novas, 1 SNova in a single turn" within your Strategical Hints but it is not a mistake to do so. ;)

Right! Since it is a strategy specialized around your deck, you ought to put it as a Strategical Hint. ;)
OldTrees OP btw! :P

Can I offer to provide a donation code as a reward to be awarded to the winner?
Or a cool art image?
It may be unofficial but I think this is an awesome pvp event idea.

with that 50 rep power you'd give half a rep power to anyone you +rep. I highly encourage you to join and +rep the winner, get Chapuz, zanz, old trees, and higs to join too. Then +rep the winner would be astonishing.

Please let us know if it's gonna be a reward code were competing for, and what the reward is? Ehhh, or maybe not. Maybe it would be really interesting to not know wether it was a 1st 2nd or 3rd place code. Play a hidden game of 1000 and then someone yells out mystery box. (I doubt that's played anywhere outside of where I live... please do mention to me if you know what Im talking about.)

+rep the winner is not about getting his reputation to the sky, its about complimenting him on his good job. Whoever joins, is highly encouraged to +rep the winner thats all, no need for exaggerations.

Anyway, I have a question. I also pm'ed you about it arth. If i join, do I need to do anything else other than pm'ing you my decks? If not then I would like to join.

Also, I would encourage you to record the games(video d'uhh) just cause. You are going to play the games anyhow so why not record them too?

No, you don't need to be present during your games or play any of them because the Organizer is the one who is going to simulate every game. You just have to PM me your 3 decks (and PM me again each round if you want to change decks and/or strategies).

Recording and uploading costs both a lot of resources (free space of hard disk, big RAM) and a lot of time (uploading vids on YouTube takes a century), but I will take screenshots at the beginning and the ending of each battle. :)

Recording and uploading costs both a lot of resources (free space of hard disk, big RAM) and a lot of time (uploading vids on YouTube takes a century), but I will take screenshots at the beginning and the ending of each battle. :)
Good enough for me  :P Okay Im in!

Will you be posting the screen shots after each round, or after the whole thing is done? (Please be after the whole thing is done)

Screenshots will be included within the PMs sent to each opponents each round. Because of this, all of the screenshots will be revealed at the end of the event along with the revelation of all the PMs of the Organizer.

- Furthermore, at the end of the event, all the PMs sent to the participants during the event from the Organizer are going to be posted in this topic in order to view the strategies used by all the players during the tournament.

If you send me at least a single deck code you don't need to be further active during this event. 8)

I'm not going on a vacation so I am using the LA side of it.

Course not! That would be absurd!

But if someone can point me in the direction of making decks on my phone, that would be of great help XD

Well, you don't actually have to write down a deck code. Something like "x6 Aether Towers, x6 Aether Pendulums, x6 Psions(U), x6 Phase Recluses, x6 Phase Shields(U), Mark of Aether" would work too. Can you enter the chat and send chat PMs to me with your deck idea(s)? In what time do you usually hang in chat? We can meet in the chat room you know. ;)

Of course you can! Just be sure to PM me your 3 decks for round 1 before the timer runs out! :)

@DawnToDusk: If you wish you can PUBLICLY post 9 decks in this topic and I will use a random-number-generator to SECRETLY determine which ones of those 9 will be used as your 3 decks for round 1 and in what order. That way you won't lose the deadline and your Round 1 opponent won't know what kind of deck are you going to use and won't be able to "cheat" with a specificaly designed counterdeck. Just a wild idea... :P

EDIT: Odin gave me a reward code, so the winner is going to get a reward code in addition to all the +reps! :D

Yes, this is a standard donation reward code so its good for a foil chimera or an upgraded shard. Should make a nice little bonus.

If it's used to express an opinion (like this game is fucking amazing) or used spontaneously (like "shit, I stubbed my toe" tell me that has never happened ^^) I think it's fine. If used to verbally abuse someone, that's when appropriate actions will be taken. I think.

If it's used to express an opinion (like this game is fucking amazing) or used spontaneously (like "shit, I stubbed my toe" tell me that has never happened ^^) I think it's fine. If used to verbally abuse someone, that's when appropriate actions will be taken. I think.

Quote
That's ugly as fuck.

That's not being used in the positive attitude of "like this game is frikin amazing" or written spontaneously like "OWWWW! I stubbed my toe" (insert swear over strikethrough part). No, it's being used in a outspokenly derogatory way to undermine my post.

You don't know this yet. I have yet to run your simulation. As long as you don't receive something like a WorldWideWeb3 2-1 Torriku PM from me you have still hopes. ;)

EDIT: Simulations have ended (pardon for the delay). Right now, every single participant must have got a PM about his/her results against his/her opponent.

The new brackets are going to be announced/posted soon...

My friend hard countered me. Rofl. Did I accidentally tell him my decks? I know I gave him a brief description, but if he figured out my deck off that then holy props to him.

Edit: besides ji and rippys match, this was the round of underdogs.

I had decided from the beginning of the event that I will use my example decks but without telling anyone, so they wouldn't know what to expect while facing me. ;D

Zawadx's match I thought was a swinger to be honest, I wasn't really thinking of which one would win, just a wait and see. So their match, in my opinion for my statement, was null void for either side of the disagreement. I've seen what great deck ideas Torriku can have but he needs greater deck improvement, while www is the exact opposite imo. He has good deck building skills but little adventuring, which is excusable because of no new cards in a while. Torriku will be honing his skills every second, while www will be waiting for new cards like the lot of us. Torriku Vs WWW was an interesting match, and I would bet on www for his experience if it had to be a real pvp event, but I thought torriku would win here. My good to honest guess is that Torriku, because of little knowledge how the ai plays (and thus ARTH would play his decks as bad as possible if the strategical hint wasn't there) just didn't give enough in his strategical hints that led WWW to win.

Good match ups :D

Uh, CR, you do realize this event's format is a lot like Leagues, where WWW is currently a mile ahead in BL, right?

I only judge active players who didnt just do 20 games, but were within 10 games of the winner. Torriku did how many games? 1 IIRC. Heh. I'd hope someone who got top 10 in BL would be a mile ahead. Not a good judging system, and for me its just a matter of opinion anyway.

You're bow rush strategies are pretty potent. It ended up outrushing my oty / pulvy deck hard... and apparently the trainer didn't know how to use pulvies :(

I'm kinda sad I didn't get to see the rage angel deck I had go up, but if your 3rd deck was a rusher as well, it (my deck) would have likely got toasted hard.

I actually didn't think about bow rushes at all when I built these. I was figuring people would go with lots of nymphs (so I would have time to build up)... Should have gone with my disco-holes deck in hind sight.

Anyway, good job!

No. No you shouldn't have gone with your disco hole deck. That's extremely unoriginal, annoying, and boring now for a stupidly long amount of time. I put up one old deck idea, but I put a big twist on it. I took a deck that can be played mono, and changed it to a rainbow deck as one of my decks. You should've put disco hole up probably if you wanted to win... but for the good heart of this competition, don't announce counters. Some people/most probably wont be changing their decks.

Hmmm, and I'm 3rd from last in BL. *starts rocking in corner*

And CR, Arth won't play the decks as bad as possible without strategic hints. He'd just not know any discrete tricks and tips.

Which is why I didn't submit it even though it tends to be very effective for pvp in general (not just as a counter).
I could have gone with any of the other cheesy grind decks too (like phase shield spam) but decided not to for the same reasons ;)

I personally predicted those results except for Ji to win, I didnt really guess who would win for krxy's match, and was hoping he'd win but oh wells. :/
Predictions for next round: Rulac to vs WWW. Then if that's right, Rulac to win. ;) No offense meant to anyone, it's just my personal thoughts. If you're gonna take it, take it with a grain of salt. It's like betting on horses at the track.

* Basillisk Blood Gemfinders or Wardens, and then use Gravity Force on them, but only if they have >40HP.
* Quicksand only if oppo have > or = 3 pillars/pends
* Firstly destroy by Pulvy shields, after that weapons. Pillars too, if too much quanta/ no other targets. ;)

* Miracle ONLY in last round, or if HP is smaller than 30hp.
* Holy Flash for EM , and for problems with heal skill. Even usable for overgrown vampires ;)

- Play Sanctuaries first, Light Dragons second and Light nymphs thirdly. Of course, if you have insufficient quanta for a Dragon you should play Nymphs first.
- Reserve Miracles for special situations, when you are highly likely to be killed next turn (approximately >50%)
- Light Nymph's ability provides 10 healing for 3 :light; use it when it decreases their total damage output to below yours OR when it decreases the chances of dying next round to below 50%

Strategical Hints:
- Get a Dune Scorpion + Chaos Power out ASAP. Do NOT play any Rewind/Discords if they hamper your quanta for getting the combo out.
- Always reserve a Chaos Power to use on a 0 attack Dune Scorpion. Unless it is absolutely necessary to win (i.e. you'll die unless you increase your damage) or if the amount of HP your opponent will have left after your round is less than C*3 where C is the number of Chaos Powers in hand; in these cases play all your Chaos powers on your Dune Scorpions.

Strategical Hints:
Play the quantum sources first every turn. Don't play more then 2 novas per turn. Nightmare dune scorpion if the opponent has 3 or more time quanta. Nightmare the most logical creature of the opponents that will overall cause you the least amount of harm, regardless of how expensive it is. <--- Break this strategic hint if the opponents creature has a threatening ability to the deck (for example: Luciferin from light nymph) and nightmare a creature from the quanta of the threatening example. Can't be a free costing creature. (In the example you'd nightmare a light creature, but not a photon.) Play the steals on only a single early hourglass or if the opponent has less then 3 quanta sources without any prediction of a nova or immolation. The last steal, or if the 2 situation examples don't apply, save the steals for only weapon/shield. Steal weapon if the ability is threatening, ex: discord's scramble. WIN!

Strategical Hints:
Play quanta sources first. Play the first nymph only if you can quint it the same turn. Do the same with the 2nd nymph if opponent has more then 4 creatures on the field. Use the rest of the quints on an opponents creature that's probably keeping you alive. If you have 8 or 9 :aether quanta play psion and quint. If you have 10 then play immortal and quint. Quint takes priority over any other card if possible. Only quint opponents creatures after you use the ability on them. Use antimatter over playing a 2nd nymph. Antimatter should be strong in this meta :D. If opponent is a trio or less then play discord as priority over nymph. WIN!

Strategic hints:
prioritise early poseidon however do know activate earthquake unless the opponent has at least 3 pillars or pends in a stack. Only use nymph tears late game lest you need early fast damage and always target pends before pillars with nymph tears. Permafrost is high priority if you have the quanta to play it. if you haven't got off element quanta prioritise damage before effects however if you have off-element quanta prioritise the effect creatures.

strategic hints:
when producing nymphs always create an entropy nymph before a dark nymph. Always make sure you have one of every type of nymph able to use its effect whenever able. If you have two water nymphs on the field and in need of healing use liquid shadow on a water nymph, otherwise as long as you have two dark nymphs able to use their effect activate liquid shadow on the one with the lowest health. Never cast liquid shadow on a purple nymph on your side of the field. If you are in need of cc without a purple nymph liquid shadow can be used on an opponents creature provided it has health less than or equal to 3 or attack less than or equal to 3.

2)And poison does less damage, for 1 turn, so if you have to choose between poison and arcenic use arcenic.

Strategical Hints:
Goal is to kil all their creatures and make cells.  Also has rush potential.
1. play towers
2. play arsenic ( unless you already have one)
3. play nymphs
4. use nymph ability on enemy creature ( except cells, duh ). I will let you judge what creatures to prioritize.
5. play poison

Strategical Hints:
This deck, like the last sounds pretty obvious, to me at least.
Use explosions on thing that can really harm you ( like lobotomizer ).
USe nymphs ability as CC before using it to buff your doll ( unless you can kill )
use explosion on shield if you can kill this turn

 Siphonary!
First, look if you can deck the opponent out.
If yes : you can afford to use siphons as you like.
If no : check your siphons!
you basically stall until you can kill. dagger does a lot of damagen with time, unless the opponent also has healing.
siphon problemeatic creature ( per example, if someone random gives you a mutation deck, and that the mutated creature has destroy or steal, kill it! )

Okay I dont need to tell "play towers" everytime, Im gonna tell you any interesting stuff. Okay so, Blue nymphs are the priority, so play them as soon as possible followed by wings, except if its a denial deck like DBH, then wings are the priority. If creature that can hurt the nymphs(llike squids) emerge, then Eagle's eye is a priority. About the created UGs, as soon as they are made, trigger them immediately. After that, press spacebar and beat my poor opponent  :P

Overall, it seems Pink Hell was too RNG-dependant, Voodoos are resistant to Pandy, Antimatter hurted a lot but it could be countered via RagePotting, Maxwells and Purple Nymphs were CCed before fuctioning.

Strategical Hints:
- When you have a 0 Pend, discard Precogs first, then any extra Discords, then excess Supernovae (if you have more than 2) then the most expensive creatures (keep any Chargers).
- Play Black Hole only when necessary to survive i.e. you are likely to die next round, or when it's denial will disrupt the opponent greatly.
- Do NOT play a Supernova unless it allows you to play a creature in yar hand earlier. a.k.a. Don't just keep chaining SNs.

- During rewinding, if no creatures have >7 attack or deadly skills, always opt to rewind low cost creatures. (exceptions may be made on a case by case basis)

- After Air Nymph is out, play Improved Fog first, next Eagle's Eye and finally Sky Dragon. Play Nymph's ability before doing anything else except for playing a Fog.
- Ignite all the Unstable Gases when their damage > HP left for your opponent at the end of your turn otherwise. You can also explode 1/2 Unstable Gases if it decreases your opponent's damage output by 14 HP or more.

Strategical Hints:
Am i shamelessly stealing an idea from rippy? totally.
So, the goal of ths deck is to get as many ug out as fast as possible. keep them for otk if they have healing, or use them immediatly if they have PC.
5. use EE on creatures that bother you.
1. play nymph (unless you already have 4 ug and you can play a 5th one, speed is all that matters here)
2. play UG
3. play EE (unless you already have one)
4. use EE on creatures that bother you (actually, i should probably put that at the top, let me edit.)

Strategical hints:
This deck, like the last sounds pretty obvious, to me at least.
Use explosions on thing that can really harm you ( like lobotomizer ).
USe nymphs ability as CC before using it to buff your doll ( unless you can kill )
use explosion on shield if you can kill this turn.

Strategical Hints:
 Siphonary!
First, look if you can deck the opponent out.
If yes : you can afford to use siphons as you like.
If no : check your siphons!
you basically stall until you can kill. dagger does a lot of damagen with time, unless the opponent also has healing.
siphon problemeatic creature ( per example, if someone random gives you a mutation deck, and that the mutated creature has destroy or steal, kill it! )

- When you have a 0 Pend, discard Precogs first, then any extra Discords, then excess Supernovae (if you have more than 2) then the most expensive creatures (keep any Chargers).

- Do NOT play a Supernova unless it allows you to play a creature in yar hand earlier. a.k.a. Don't just keep chaining SNs.

Game 1: Win

Very, very, very close one.

Game 2: Win

Good creature (and even perm) control combined with a good rush.

Game 3: Win

Early BHs were painful, but early cheap CC helped to counter the early game rush.

Game 4: Win

It seems the AI, though it can play rainbows fairly well in general, it lacks the "6th sense" a human player has.

In spite of using DiscHole against rainbow, it seems Zawadx's decks lacks both quanta generation and enough counters to beat RulacMage's deck.
Btw, this determines the winner of the 1st decks. Ggs indeed!
