So, have you ever felt that you were weak? That you looked up to the Demigods and all their special powers?
Well, no more! Now this power has been given to all of you, and you will feel stronger than ever before!

Rules:
When you start the duel, make sure that the text boxes to the right of 'Challenge' are as follows:
HP: 200, Mark: 3, Deck: 2 (or empty), Draw: 2.
Upgraded cards are not allowed.
No other rules.

Each match will be a best-of-3.
Note that you can switch decks between duels.

Prizes:
1st Place: 300 Gold + Nymph Code + Mark Code
2nd Place: 250 Gold + Nymph Code
3rd Place: 200 Gold
4th Place: 150 Gold

Was discussing a bit with Submachine. Concluded that 2 cards which are most likely to require banning: SoPa/SoD
SoD because miracle at 200hp is already silly, & SoPa because it counters Miracle & ramp damage is really strong when you're against 200hp

Alternatively, ban Miracle to make SoD less good & SoPa less necessary

edit: All said, this tourney wants to be unrestricted; if participants are fine with potentially half the meta including SoPa/SoD, then alright, let it be

I think we have enough alternatives and counters in this meta to keep going even with SoPa and SoD.
They are indeed ugly, especially with the miracle combo, but they are also not the only ramps any more nor is ramp up necessarily the only viable strat.
There are more ways to win than just dealing 200 damage in a single blow.
I won't go into too much detail, but we now have in hand card destruction / stealing. More viable deckout and lockdowns and some very ugly poison rampup.
Also, lets not forget that the quanta caps are at 99 instead of 75. If nothing else, SoD needs to be allowed to help make OTK bolts think twice and also to give light a chance against stone-skin spammers.
Granted, Miracle is definitely a nasty customer with 200HP start, but what happens if someone has a burn deck? That card has to sit in your hand until needed... right?
Basically OpenEtG meta is definitely a different beast than vanilla EtG so I think we should leave all the cards in and see what happens. We have a lot of unexplored territory I think. The new meta is still young, so lets wait and see what people come up with when they have everything at their disposal.
