So, I have this fun little deck:

It's nothing special, not a real competition deck, a kind of glass cannon that every now and then does something amazing. Today was one of those days.

I'm trying to get to the last quest so I can get my weapon and start trying to upgrade it to be dangerous. My opponent was the L3 scarab swarm deck. I got lucky and got a photon out early to cast one of the Mutates on. The photon became something like a 6/5 Maxwell's Demon . . .with devour for 2  :entropy. I and my eavesdropping friend started laughing in stunned joy. I got this. The swarm is history. And it was. At one point I cast a CS on a Pharoah and got an icebolt that conveniently froze it, and at that point it was small enough for the MD to eat. My comment: Mmm! Frozen dinner!. At length, the battle was joined by a gang of Abominations with a little help from Mitosis. I told my friend, who likes decks with more certainty built in, "See how much fun the uncertainty is?"

As the friend in question, I can say that watching this deck in action elicits many giggles from the anomalies it produces — like that 7/9 Skeleton.  …With Dive.  Über-skeleton paratrooper!

I couldn’t ever use a deck like that, though.  Too much chaos for me; like he said, I like a little more certainty in my decks.  This is basically like playing with a different deck every game.

…But it’s still a hoot to watch something like this when it works. ^.^

When I mutate creatures, they turn into something very weird, for example a golden nymph( or whatever the unupped time one is called), with paradox as a skill.
Creepers be creepin'
Builders be weepin'
